- قُلْکہہ دیجیے
- لَّاۤنہیں
- اَمْلِكُمیں مالک
- لِنَفْسِیْاپنے نفس کے لیے
- نَفْعًاکسی نفع کا
- وَّلَااور نہ
- ضَرًّاکسی نقصان کا
- اِلَّامگر
- مَاجو
- شَآءَچاہے
- اللّٰهُ ؕاللہ
- وَلَوْاور اگر
- كُنْتُہوتا میں
- اَعْلَمُجانتا
- الْغَیْبَغیب کو
- لَاسْتَكْثَرْتُالبتہ میں جمع کرلیتا۔ کثرت سے حاصل کرلیتا
- مِنَمیں سے
- الْخَیْرِ ۛۖۚبھلائی
- وَمَااور نہ
- مَسَّنِیَچھوتی مجھ کو
- السُّوْٓءُ ۛۚکوئی تکلیف
- اِنْمگر

- وَّبَشِیْرٌاور خوشخبری دینے والا
- لِّقَوْمٍاس قوم کے لیے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
اے محمدؐ ، ان سے کہو کہ ”میں اپنی ذات کے لیے کسی نفع اور نقصان کا اختیار نہیں رکھتا، اللہ ہی جو کچھ چاہتا ہے وہی ہوتا ہے۔ اور اگر مجھے غیب کا علم ہوتا تو میں بہت سے فائدے اپنے لیے حاصل کر لیتا اور مجھے کبھی کوئی نقصان نہ پہنچتا۔میں1تو محض ایک خبردار کرنے والا اور خوشخبری سُنانے والا ہوں اُن لوگوں کےلیے جو میری بات مانیں۔“

مطلب یہ ہے کہ قیامت کی ٹھیک تاریخ وہی بتا سکتا ہے جسے غیب کا علم ہو، اور میرا حال یہ ہے کہ میں کل کے متعلق بھی نہیں جانتا کہ میرے ساتھ یا میرے بال بچوں کے ساتھ کیا کچھ پیش آنے والا ہے۔ تم خود سمجھ سکتے ہو کہ اگر یہ علم مجھے حاصل ہوتا تو میں کتنے نقصانات سے قبل از وقت آگاہ ہو کر بچ جاتا اور کتنے فائدے محض پیشگی علم کی بدولت اپنی ذات کے لیے سمیٹ لیتا پھر یہ تمہاری کتنی بڑی نادانی ہے کہ تم مجھ سے پو چھتے ہو کہ قیامت کب آئے گی۔
