Surah 9, ayah 70

  1. اَلَمْکیا نہیں
  2. یَاْتِهِمْآئی ان کے پاس
  3. نَبَاُخبر
  4. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کی
  5. مِنْسے
  6. قَبْلِهِمْجو ان سے پہلے تھے
  7. قَوْمِقوم
  8. نُوْحٍنوح میں سے
  9. وَّعَادٍاور عاد
  10. وَّثَمُوْدَ ۙ۬اور ثمود
  11. وَقَوْمِاور قوم
  12. اِبْرٰهِیْمَابراہیم
  13. وَاَصْحٰبِاور والے
  14. مَدْیَنَمدین والے۔ مدین والے
  15. وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِ ؕاور وہ بستیاں
  16. اَتَتْهُمْجنہیں الٹ دیا گیا آئے ان کے پاس
  17. رُسُلُهُمْان کے رسول
  18. بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ۚروشن دلائل کے ساتھ
  19. فَمَاپس نہیں
  20. كَانَہے
  21. اللّٰهُاللہ
  22. لِیَظْلِمَهُمْکہ ظلم کرتا ان پر
  23. وَلٰكِنْاور لیکن
  24. كَانُوْۤاوہ تھے
  25. اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنی جانوں پر
  26. یَظْلِمُوْنَظلم کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

1کیا اِن لوگوں کو اپنے پیش رووٴں کی تاریخ نہیں پہنچی؟ نوح ؑ کی قوم، عاد ، ثمود، ابراہیم ؑ کی قوم، مدیَن کے لوگ اور وہ بستیاں جنہیں اُلٹ دیا گیا2۔ اُن کے رسُول ان کے پاس کھُلی کھُلی نشانیاں لے کر آئے، پھر یہ اللہ کا کام نہ تھا کہ ان پر ظلم کرتامگر وہ آپ ہی اپنے اوپر ظلم کرنے والے تھے۔3

  2. اشارہ ہے قومِ لوط کی بستیوں کی طرف۔

  3. “یعنی ان کی تباہی و بربادی اس وجہ سے نہیں ہوئی کہ اللہ کو ان کے ساتھ کوئی دشمنی تھی اور وہ چاہتا تھا کہ انہیں تباہ کرے۔ بلکہ دراصل انہوں نے خود ہی اپنے لیے وہ طرزِ زندگی پسند کیا جو انہیں بربادی کی طرف لےجانے والا تھا۔ اللہ نے تو انہیں سوچنے سمجھنے اور سنبھلنے کا پورا موقع دیا، ان کی فہمائش کے لیے رسول بھیجے، رسولوں کے ذریعہ سے ان کو غلط روی  کے بُرے نتائج سے آگاہ کیا اور انہیں کھول کھول کر نہایت واضح طریقے سے بتا دیا کہ ان کے لیے فلاح کا راستہ کونسا ہے اور ہلاکت و بربادی کا کونسا۔ مگر جب انہوں نے اصلاح حال کے کسی موقع سے فائدہ نہ اُٹھایا اور ہلاکت کی راہ چلنے ہی پر اصرار کیا تو لامحالہ ان کا وہ انجام ہونا ہی تھا جو بالآخر ہو کر رہا، اور یہ ظلم ان پر اللہ نے نہیں کیا بلکہ انہوں نے خود اپنے اوپر کیا۔
