- اَلَمْکیا نہیں
- یَاْتِهِمْآئی ان کے پاس
- نَبَاُخبر
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کی
- مِنْسے
- قَبْلِهِمْجو ان سے پہلے تھے
- قَوْمِقوم
- نُوْحٍنوح میں سے
- وَّعَادٍاور عاد
- وَّثَمُوْدَ ۙ۬اور ثمود
- وَقَوْمِاور قوم
- اِبْرٰهِیْمَابراہیم
- وَاَصْحٰبِاور والے
- مَدْیَنَمدین والے۔ مدین والے
- وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِ ؕاور وہ بستیاں
- اَتَتْهُمْجنہیں الٹ دیا گیا آئے ان کے پاس
- رُسُلُهُمْان کے رسول
- بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ۚروشن دلائل کے ساتھ
- فَمَاپس نہیں
- كَانَہے
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- لِیَظْلِمَهُمْکہ ظلم کرتا ان پر
- وَلٰكِنْاور لیکن
- كَانُوْۤاوہ تھے
- اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنی جانوں پر
- یَظْلِمُوْنَظلم کرتے

کیا ان کے پاس ان لوگوں کی خبریں نہیں آچکی ہیں جو ان سے پہلے تھے ؟ قوم نوح ؑ عاد ثمود اور قوم ابراہیم ؑ اور مدین کے لوگوں اور ان بستیوں کی (خبریں) جو الٹ دی گئیں ان کے پاس آئے ان کے رسول واضح نشانیاں (یا احکام) لے کر۔ پس اللہ ان پر ظلم کرنے والا نہیں تھا بلکہ وہ اپنے اوپر خود ہی ظلم ڈھاتے رہے

آیت 70 اَلَمْ یَاْتِہِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِہِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوْدَلا وَقَوْمِ اِبْرٰہِیْمَ یہ قرآن مجید کا واحد مقام ہے جہاں قوم ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا تذکرہ اس انداز میں آیا ہے کہ شاید آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم پر بھی عذاب آیا ہو ‘ لیکن واضح طور پر ایسے کسی عذاب کا ذکر پورے قرآن میں کہیں نہیں ہے۔
