- كَالَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کی طرح
- مِنْسے
- قَبْلِكُمْجو تم (سے) پہلے تھے
- كَانُوْۤاوہ تھے
- اَشَدَّزیادہ شدید
- مِنْكُمْتم سے
- قُوَّةًقوت میں
- وَّاَكْثَرَاور بڑھے ہوئے
- اَمْوَالًامال میں
- وَّاَوْلَادًا ؕاور اولاد میں
- فَاسْتَمْتَعُوْاپس انہوں نے فائدہ اٹھایا
- بِخَلَاقِهِمْاپنے حصے کا
- فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْپس تم فائدہ اٹھا رہے ہو
- بِخَلَاقِكُمْاپنے حصے کا
- كَمَاجس طرح کا
- اسْتَمْتَعَفائدہ اٹھایا
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں نے
- مِنْسے
- قَبْلِكُمْجو تم سے پہلے تھے
- بِخَلَاقِهِمْاپنے حصے کا
- وَخُضْتُمْاور بحثوں میں پڑے تم
- كَالَّذِیْان لوگوں کی طرح
- خَاضُوْا ؕجو بحثوں میں پڑے
- اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی لوگ
- حَبِطَتْضائع ہوگئے
- اَعْمَالُهُمْان کے اعمال
- فِیمیں
- الدُّنْیَادنیا میں
- وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚاور آخرت میں
- وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَاور یہی لوگ
- هُمُوہ
- الْخٰسِرُوْنَجو خسارہ پانے والے ہیں

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
1تم لوگوں کے رنگ ڈھنگ وہی ہیں جو تمہارے پیش رووٴں کے تھے۔ وہ تم سے زیادہ زور آور اور تم سے بڑھ کر مال اور اولاد والے تھے۔ پھر انہوں نے دنیا میں اپنے حصّہ کے مزے لُوٹ لیے اور تم نے بھی اپنے حصّہ کے مزے اسی طرح لُوٹے جیسے انہوں نے لُوٹے تھے، اور ویسی ہی بحثوں میں تم بھی پڑے جیسی بحثوں میں وہ پڑے تھے، سوا ان کا انجام یہ ہوا کہ دنیا اور آخرت میں ان کا سب کیا دھرا ضائع ہو گیا اور وہی خسارے میں ہیں
