فَسِیْحُوْاپس چلو پھرو۔ سیر کرو
فِیمیں
الْاَرْضِزمین (میں)
اَرْبَعَةَچار
اَشْهُرٍمہینے
وَّاعْلَمُوْۤااور جان لو
اَنَّكُمْبیشک تم
غَیْرُنہیں
مُعْجِزِیعاجز کرنے والے
اللّٰهِ ۙاللہ کو
وَاَنَّاور بیشک
اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
مُخْزِیرسوا کرنے والا ہے
الْكٰفِرِیْنَکافروں کو
۟

پس تم لوگ ملک میں چار مہینے اور چل پھر لو¹ اور جان رکھو کہ تم اللہ کو عاجز کرنے والے نہیں ہو، اور یہ کہ اللہ منکرینِ حق کو رُسوا کرنے والا ہے

یہ اعلان 1۰ ذی الحجہ سن 9 ھجری کو ہوا تھا۔ اس وقت 1۰ ربیع الثانی سن 1۰ ھجری تک چار مہینہ کی مہلت ان لوگوں کو دی گئی کہ اس دوران میں اپنی پوزیشن پر اچھی طرح غور کر لیں۔ لڑنا ہو تو لڑائی کے لیے تیار ہو جائیں ، ملک چھوڑنا ہو تو اپنی جائے پناہ تلاش کر لیں، اسلام قبول کرنا ہو تو سوچ سمجھ کر قبول کر لیں۔
