Tafheem-ul-Quran
اللہ ہی تو ہے جس نے ضعف کی حالت سے تمہاری پیدائش کی ابتدا کی ، پھر اس ضعف کے بعد تمہیں قوّت بخشی، پھر اس قوّت کے بعد تمہیں ضعیف اور بُوڑھا کر دیا۔ وہ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے۔1 وہ سب کچھ جاننے والا ، ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے

یعنی بچپن، جوانی اور بڑھاپا، یہ ساری حالتیں اسی کی پیدا کردہ ہیں۔ یہ اسی کی مشیت پر موقوف ہے کہ جسے چاہے کمزور پیدا کرے اور جس کو چاہے طاقت ور بنائے، جسے چاہے بچپن سے جوانی تک نہ پہنچنے دے اور جس کو چاہے جوانا مرگ کر دے، جسے چاہے لمبی عمر دے کر بھی تندرست و توانا رکھے اور جس کو چاہے شاندار جوانی کے بعد بڑھاپے میں، اس طرح ایڑیاں رگڑوائے کہ دنیا اسے دیکھ کر عبرت کرنے لگے ۔ انسان اپنی جگہ جس گھمنڈ میں چاہے مبتلا ہوتا رہے مگر خدا کے قبضۂ قدرت میں وہ اِس طرح بے بس ہے کہ جو حالت بھی خدا اس پر طاری کر دے اسے وہ اپنی کسی تدبیر سے نہیں بد ل سکتا۔
