Surah 30, ayah 55

  1. وَیَوْمَاور جس دن
  2. تَقُوْمُقائم ہوگی
  3. السَّاعَةُقیامت
  4. یُقْسِمُقسمیں کھائیں گے
  5. الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ ۙ۬مجرم
  6. مَانہیں
  7. لَبِثُوْاوہ ٹھہرے
  8. غَیْرَسوائے
  9. سَاعَةٍ ؕایک گھڑی کے
  10. كَذٰلِكَاسی طرح
  11. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  12. یُؤْفَكُوْنَپھیرے جاتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور جب وہ ساعت برپا ہوگی1 تو مجرم قسمیں کھاکھا کر کہیں گے کہ ہم ایک گھڑی بھر سے زیادہ نہیں ٹھہرے ہیں،2 اسی طرح وہ دنیا کی زندگی میں دھوکا کھایا کرتے تھے۔3

  1. یعنی قیامت جس کے آنے کے خبر دی جارہی ہے۔

  2. یعنی مرنے کے وقت سے قیامت کی اُس گھڑی تک۔ ان دونوں ساعتوں کے درمیان چاہے دس بیس ہزار برس ہی گزر چکے ہوں، مگر وہ یہ محسوس کریں گے کہ چند گھنٹے پہلے  ہم سوئے تھے اور اب اچانک ایک حادثہ نے ہمیں جگا اُٹھایا ہے۔

  3. یعنی ایسے ہی غلط اندازے یہ لوگ دنیا میں بھی لگاتے ہیں۔ وہاں بھی یہ حقیقت کے ادراک سے محروم تھے، اسی وجہ سے یہ حکم لگایا کرتے تھے کہ کوئی قیامت ویامت نہیں آنی، مرنے کے بعد کوئی زندگی نہیں ، اور کسی خدا کے سامنے حاضر ہو کر ہمیں حساب نہیں دینا۔
