Surah 3, ayah 22

  1. اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی
  2. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ ہیں
  3. حَبِطَتْضائع ہوگئے
  4. اَعْمَالُهُمْاعمال ان کے
  5. فِیمیں
  6. الدُّنْیَادنیا
  7. وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ؗاور آخرت میں
  8. وَمَااور نہیں
  9. لَهُمْان کے لیے
  10. مِّنْمیں سے
  11. نّٰصِرِیْنَمددگاروں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے اعمال دُنیا اور آخرت دونوں میں ضائع ہو گئے،1 اور ان کا مددگار کوئی نہیں ہے۔2

  1. یعنی انہوں نے اپنی قوتیں اور کوششیں ایسی راہ میں صرف کی ہیں جس کا نتیجہ  دُنیا میں بھی خراب ہے اور آخرت میں بھی خراب۔

  2. یعنی کوئی طاقت ایسی نہیں ہے جو ان کی اس غلط سعی و عمل کو سُپھل بنا سکے، یا کم از کم بد انجامی ہی سے بچا سکے۔ جِن جِن قوتوں پر وہ بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں کہ وہ دُنیا میں یا آخرت میں یا دونوں جگہ ان کے کام آئیں گی، ان میں سے فی الواقع کوئی بھی ان کی مددگار ثابت نہ ہوگی۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے تمام اعمال دنیا اور آخرت میں اکارت ہوگئے اور ان کا پھر کوئی مددگار نہیں ہوگا

Commentary

آیت 22 اُولٰٓءِکَ الَّذِیْنَ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُہُمْ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَۃِز ۔قریش کو یہ زعم تھا کہ ہم خدام کعبہ ہیں اور ہمارے پاس جو یہ لوگ حج کرنے آتے ہیں ہم ان کو کھانا کھلاتے ہیں ‘ پانی پلاتے ہیں ‘ ہماری ان خدمات کے عوض ہمیں بخش دیا جائے گا۔ فرمایا وہ سارے اعمال حبط ہوجائیں گے۔ اگر تو صحیح صحیح پورے دین کو اختیار کرو گے تو ٹھیک ہے ‘ ورنہ چاہے خیرات اور بھلائی کے بڑے سے بڑے کام کیے ہوں ‘ لوگوں کی فلاح و بہبود کے ادارے قائم کردیے ہوں ‘ اللہ کی نگاہ میں ان کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں۔
