  10. وَبِالْوَالِدَیْنِاور ساتھ والدین کے
  11. اِحْسَانًااحسان (کروگے)

  26. قَلِیْلًابہت کم
  27. مِّنْكُمْتم میں سے
  28. وَاَنْتُمْاور تم(ہو ہی)
  29. مُّعْرِضُوْنَاعراض کرنے والے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یاد کرو، اسرائیل کی اولاد سے ہم نے پختہ عہد لیا تھا کہ اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرنا، ماں باپ کے ساتھ، رشتے داروں کے ساتھ، یتیموں اور مسکینوں کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرنا، لوگوں سے بھلی بات کہنا، نماز قائم کرنا اور زکوٰۃ دینا، مگر تھوڑے آدمیوں کے سو ا تم سب اس عہد سے پھر گئے اور اب تک پھر ے ہوئے ہو

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور یاد کرو جب ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا تھا کہ تم نہیں عبادت کرو گے کسی کی سوائے اللہ کے اور والدین کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرو گے اور قرابت داروں کے ساتھ بھی (نیک سلوک کرو گے اور یتیموں کے ساتھ بھی اور محتاجوں کے ساتھ بھی اور لوگوں سے اچھی بات کہو اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرو پھر تم (اس سے) پھرَ گئے سوائے تم میں سے تھوڑے سے لوگوں کے اور تم ہو ہی پھرجانے والے

Commentary

آیت 83 وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِیْثَاقَ بَنِیْٓ اِسْرَآءِ یْلَ لاَ تَعْبُدُوْنَ الاَّ اللّٰہَقف۔“ وَبِالْوَالِدَیْنِ اِحْسَانًا“ اللہ کے حق کے فوراً بعد والدین کے حق کا ذکر قرآن مجید میں چار مقامات پر آیا ہے۔ ان میں سے ایک مقام یہ ہے۔وَّذِی الْقُرْبٰی وَالْیَتٰمٰی ”وَالْمَسٰکِیْنِ “ وَقُوْلُوْا للنَّاسِ حُسْنًا“ امر بالمعروف کرتے رہو۔ نیکی کی دعوت دیتے رہو۔وَّاَقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّکٰوۃَ ط یہ بنی اسرائیل سے معاہدہ ہو رہا ہے۔ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّیْتُمْ الاَّ قَلِیْلاً مِّنْکُمْ “ وَاَنْتُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ۔“ تمہاری یہ عادت گویا طبیعت ثانیہ ہے۔اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان سے اس کے علاوہ ایک اور عہد بھی لیا تھا ‘ جس کا ذکر بایں الفاظ کیا جارہا ہے :
