- وَاِنْاور اگر
- طَلَّقْتُمُوْهُنَّتم طلاق دو ان کو
- مِنْسے
- قَبْلِاس سے پہلے
- اَنْکہ
- تَمَسُّوْهُنَّتم نے ہاتھ لگایا ان کو
- وَقَدْاور تحقیق
- فَرَضْتُمْمقرر کردیا تھا تم نے
- لَهُنَّان کے لیے
- فَرِیْضَةًمہر کو
- فَنِصْفُتو آدھا ہے
- مَاجو
- فَرَضْتُمْمقرر کیا تم نے (مہر)
- اِلَّاۤمگر
- اَنْیہ کہ
- یَّعْفُوْنَوہ (عورتیں) معاف کردیں
- اَوْیا
- یَعْفُوَامعاف کردے
- الَّذِیْوہ شخص
- بِیَدِهٖاس کے ہاتھ میں ہے
- عُقْدَةُگرہ
- النِّكَاحِ ؕنکاح کی
- وَاَنْاور یہ کہ
- تَعْفُوْۤاتم معاف کردو
- اَقْرَبُزیادہ قریب ہے
- لِلتَّقْوٰی ؕتقوی کے
- وَلَااور نہ
- تَنْسَوُاتم بھولو
- الْفَضْلَاحسان کو
- بَیْنَكُمْ ؕآپس میں۔ اپنے درمیان
- اِنَّبیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ
- بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
- تَعْمَلُوْنَتم عمل کرتے ہو
- بَصِیْرٌدیکھنے والا ہے

Tafheem-ul-Quran
اور اگر تم نے ہاتھ لگانے سے پہلے طلاق دی ہو ، لیکن مہرمقرر کیا جاچکا ہو، جس کے اختیار میں عقدِ نکاح ہے، نرمی سے کام لے( اور پورا مہر دیدے)، اور تم (یعنی مرد)نرمی سے کام لو، تو یہ تقوٰی سے زیادہ مناسبت رکھتا ہے۔ آپس کے معاملات میں فیّاضی کو نہ بھولو۔ تمہارے اعمال کو اللہ دیکھ رہاہے۔1

یعنی انسانی تعلقات کی بہتری و خوشگواری کے لیے لوگوں کا باہم فیّا ضانہ برتا ؤ کرنا ضروری ہے۔ اگر ہر ایک شخص ٹھیک ٹھیک اپنے قانونی حق ہی پر اَڑا رہے ، تو اجتماعی زندگی کبھی خوشگوار نہیں ہو سکتی۔
