- وَاِذَااور جب
- طَلَّقْتُمُطلاق دے دو تم
- النِّسَآءَعورتوں کو
- فَبَلَغْنَپھر وہ پہنچیں
- اَجَلَهُنَّاپنی مدت کو
- فَلَاتو نہ
- تَعْضُلُوْهُنَّتو منع کرو انہیں۔ تو نہ روکو انہیں
- اَنْکہ
- یَّنْكِحْنَوہ نکاح کرلیں
- اَزْوَاجَهُنَّاپنے شوہروں سے
- اِذَاجب
- تَرَاضَوْاوہ باہم رضا مند ہوجائیں
- بَیْنَهُمْآپس میں
- بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ؕمناسب طریقے سے
- ذٰلِكَیہ
- یُوْعَظُنصیحت کی جاتی ہے
- بِهٖساتھ اس کے
- مَنْ(اسے) جو
- كَانَہو
- مِنْكُمْتم میں سے
- یُؤْمِنُایمان رکھتا
- بِاللّٰهِاللہ پر
- وَالْیَوْمِاور یوم
- الْاٰخِرِ ؕآخرت پر۔ قیامت کے دن پر
- ذٰلِكُمْیہ بات
- اَزْكٰیزیادہ پاکیزہ ہے
- لَكُمْتمہارے لیے
- وَاَطْهَرُ ؕاور زیادہ پاک ہے
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- یَعْلَمُجانتا ہے
- وَاَنْتُمْاور تم
- لَانہیں
- تَعْلَمُوْنَتم جانتے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
جب تم اپنی عورتوں کو طلاق دے چکو اور وہ عدّت پوری کر لیں، تو پھر اس میں مانع نہ ہو کہ وہ اپنے زیرِ تجویز شوہروں سے نکاح کر لیں، جب کہ وہ معروف طریقے سے با ہم مناکحت پر راضی ہوں۔1تمہیں نصیحت کی جاتی ہے کہ ایسی حرکت ہرگز نہ کرنا، اگر تم اللہ اور روزِ آخر پر ایمان لانے والے ہو۔ تمہارے لیے شائستہ اور پاکیزہ طریقہ یہی ہے کہ اس سے باز رہو۔ اللہ جانتا ہے تم نہیں جانتے

یعنی اگر کسی عورت کو اس شوہر نے طلاق دے دی ہو اور زمانہء عِدّت کے اندر اس سے رجُوع نہ کیا ہو، پھر عدّت گزر جانے کے بعد وہ دونوں آپس میں دوبارہ نکاح پر راضی ہوں ، تو عورت کے رشتے داروں کو اس میں مانع نہ ہونا چاہیے۔ نیز اس کا یہ مطلب بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ جو شخص اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے چکا ہو اور عورت عدّت کے بعد اس سے آزاد ہو کر کہیں دُوسری جگہ اپنا نکاح کرنا چاہتی ہو تو اُس سابق شوہر کو ایسی کمینہ حرکت نہ کرنی چاہیے کہ اس کے نکاح میں مانع ہو اور یہ کوشش کرتا پھرے کہ جس عورت کو اس نے چھوڑا ہے، اُسے کوئی نکاح میں لانا قبول نہ کرے۔
