- وَمَنْاور کون
- اَظْلَمُبڑا ظالم ہے
- مِمَّنْاس سے جو
- ذُكِّرَنصیحت کیا گیا
- بِاٰیٰتِآیات کے
- رَبِّهٖاپنے رب کی
- فَاَعْرَضَذریعے پھر اسنے اعراض برتا
- عَنْهَااس سے
- وَنَسِیَاور بھول گیا
- مَاجو
- قَدَّمَتْآگے بھیجا
- یَدٰهُ ؕاس کے دونوں ہاتھوں نے
- اِنَّابیشک ہم نے
- جَعَلْنَا، بنائے ہم نے
- عَلٰیپر
- قُلُوْبِهِمْان کے دلوں (پر)
- اَكِنَّةًغلاف
- اَنْکہ
- یَّفْقَهُوْهُسمجھ سکیں وہ اس کو
- وَفِیْۤاور ان کے
- اٰذَانِهِمْکانوں میں
- وَقْرًا ؕبوجھ کو
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- تَدْعُهُمْتم پکارو/ بلاؤ ان کو
- اِلَیطرف
- الْهُدٰیہدایت کی
- فَلَنْتو ہرگزنہ
- یَّهْتَدُوْۤاہدایت پائیں گے
- اِذًاتب
- اَبَدًاکبھی بھی

Tafheem-ul-Quran
اور اُس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم اور کون ہے جسے اُس کے ربّ کی آیات سُناکر نصیحت کی جائے اور وہ اُن سے منہ پھیرے اور اُس بُرے انجام کو بھول جائے جس کا سروسامان اُس نے اپنے لیے خود اپنے ہاتھوں کیا ہے؟(جن لوگوں نے یہ روش اختیار کی ہے)ان کے دلوں پر ہم نے غلاف چڑھا دیے ہیں جو انہیں قرآن کی بات نہیں سمجھنے دیتے، اور اُن کے کانوں میں ہم نے گرانی پیدا کر دی ہے۔ تم انھیں ہدایت کی طرف کتنا ہی بُلاوٴ، وہ اس حالت میں کبھی ہدایت نہ پائیں گے۔1

یعنی جب کوئی شخص یا گروہ دلیل و حجت اور خیر خواہانہ نصیحت کے مقابلے میں جھگڑالو پن پر اتر آتا ہے ، اور حق کا مقابلہ جھوٹ اور مگر وہ فریب کے ہتھیاروں سے کرنے لگتا ہے ، اور اپنے کرتوتوں کا برا انجام دیکھنے سے پہلے کیس کے سمجھانے سے اپنی غلطی ماننے پر تیار نہیں ہوتا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ پھر اس کے دل پر قفل چڑھا دیتا ہے اور اس کے کان ہر صدائے حق کے لیے بہرے کر دیتا ہے۔ ایسے لوگ نصیحت سے نہیں مانا کرتے بلکہ ہلاکت کے گڑھے میں گر کر ہی انہیں یقین آتا ہے کہ وہ ہلاکت تھی جس کی راہ پر وہ بڑھے چلے جا رہے تھے۔
