Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

تیرا ربّ بڑا درگزر کرنے والا اور رحیم ہے۔ وہ ان کے کرتُوتوں پر انھیں پکڑنا چاہتا تو جلدی ہی عذاب بھیج دیتا۔ مگر ان کے لیے وعدے کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے اور اس سے بچ کر بھاگ نکلنے کی یہ کوئی راہ نہ پائیں گے۔1

  1.  یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ کا یہ طریقہ نہیں ہے کہ جس وقت کسی سے قصور سرزد ہو اسی وقت پکڑ کر اسے سزا دے ڈالے۔ یہ اس کی شان رحیمی کا تقاضا ہے کہ مجرموں کے پکڑنے میں وہ جلد بازی سے کام نہیں لیتا اور مدتوں ان کو سنبھلنے کا موقع دیتا رہتا ہے۔ مگر سخت نادان ہیں ہو لوگ جو اس ڈھیل کو غلط معنی میں لیتے ہیں اور یہ گمان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ خواہ کچھ ہی کرتے رہیں ، ان سے کبھی ناز پرس ہوگی ہی نہیں۔
