  1. قَالَاس نے کہا
  2. مَعَاذَپناہ
  3. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  4. اَنْکہ ہم
  5. نَّاْخُذَلیں
  6. اِلَّامگر
  7. مَنْاسے
  8. وَّجَدْنَاجس کو پایا ہم نے
  9. مَتَاعَنَااپنا سامان
  10. عِنْدَهٗۤ ۙاس کے پاس
  11. اِنَّاۤبیشک ہم
  12. اِذًاتب البتہ
  13. لَّظٰلِمُوْنَظالم ہوں گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یُوسُف ؑ نے کہا”پناہِ خدا، دُوسرے کسی شخص کو ہم کیسے رکھ سکتے ہیں، جس کے پاس ہم نے اپنا مال پایا ہے1 اُس کو چھوڑ کر دُوسرے کو رکھیں گے تو ہم ظالم ہوں گے۔“

  1. احتیاط ملاحظہ ہو کہ ”چور“ نہیں کہتے بلکہ صرف یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ”جس کے پاس ہم نے اپنا مال  پایا ہے“ اسی کو اصطلاح شرع میں ”توریہ“ کہتے ہیں، یعنی”حقیقت پر پردہ ڈالنا“ یا ” امر واقعہ کو چھپانا“۔ جب کسی مظلو م کو ظالم سے بچانے  یا کسی بڑے مظلمہ کو دفع کرنے کی کوئی صورت اس کے سوا نہ ہو کہ کچھ خلاف واقعہ بات کہی جائے یا کوئی خلاف حقیقت حیلہ کیا جائے ، تو ایسی صورت میں  ایک پرہیز گار آدمی صریح جھوٹ بولنے سے احتراز کرتے ہوئے ایسی بات کہنے یا ایسی تدبیر کرنے کی کوشش کرے گا جس سے حقیقت کو چھپا  کر بدی کو دفع کیا جا سکے۔ ایسا کرنا شرع و اخلاق میں جائز ہے ، بشرطیکہ محض کام نکالنے کے لیے ایسا نہ کیا جائے بلکہ کسی بڑی برائی کو دُور کرنا ہو۔ اب دیکھیے کہ اس سارے معاملہ میں حضرت یوسفؑ نے کس طرح جائز تو  ریہ کی شرائط پوری کی ہیں ۔ بھائی کی رضا مندی سے اس کے سامان میں پیالہ رکھ دیا مگر ملازموں سے یہ نہیں کہا کہ اس پر چوری کا الزام لگاؤ۔ پھر جب سرکاری ملازم چوری کے الزام  میں ان لوگوں کو پکڑ لائے تو خاموشی کے ساتھ اُٹھ کر تلاشی لے لی۔ پھر اب جو ان بھائیوں نے کہا کہ بن یمین  کی جگہ ہم میں سے کسی کو رکھ لیجیے تو اس کے جواب میں بھی بس اُنہی کی بات اُن پر الٹ دی کہ تمہارا اپنا فتویٰ یہ تھا کہ جس کے سامان میں سے تمہارا مال نکلے وہی رکھ لیا جائے ، سو اب تمہارے سامنے بن یمین کے سامان میں سے ہمارا مال نکلا ہے اور اسی کو ہم رکھے لیتے ہیں، دوسرے کو اس کی جگہ کیسے رکھ سکتے ہیں؟ اس قسم کے  توریہ کی مثالیں خود نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے غزوات میں بھی ملتی ہیں ، اور کسی دلیل سے بھی اس کو اخلاقًا معیوب نہیں کہا جا سکتا۔

یوسف نے فرمایا : اللہ کی پناہ اس بات سے کہ ہم پکڑ لیں کسی اور کو اس شخص کے بجائے جس کے پاس سے ہم نے اپنا مال برآمد کیا ہے یقیناً اس صورت میں تو ہم ظالم ہوں گے

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 12:78, 12:79)

اِنَّا نَرٰىكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ یہ صورت حال ان لوگوں کے لیے بہت پریشان کن تھی۔ باپ کا اعتماد وہ پہلے ہی کھو چکے تھے۔ اس دفعہ اللہ کے نام پر عہد کر کے بن یامین کو اپنے ساتھ لائے تھے۔ اب خیال آتا تھا کہ اگر اسے یہاں چھوڑ کر واپس جاتے ہیں تو والد کو جا کر کیا منہ دکھائیں گے۔ چناچہ وہ گڑ گڑانے پر آگئے اور حضرت یوسف کی منت سماجت کرنے لگے کہ آپ بہت شریف اور نیک انسان ہیں ‘ آپ ہم میں سے کسی ایک کو اس کی جگہ اپنے پاس رکھ لیں مگر اس کو جانے دیں۔
