  7. شَیْخًابوڑھا ہے

  9. فَخُذْپس لے لے

  11. مَكَانَهٗ ۚاس کی جگہ
  12. اِنَّابیشک ہم
  13. نَرٰىكَہم دیکھتے ہیں تجھ کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

انہوں نے کہا”اے سردار ذی اقتدار(عزیز)1، اس کا باپ بہت بُوڑھا آدمی ہے، اس کی جگہ آپ ہم میں سےکسی کو رکھ لیجیے، ہم آپ کو بڑا ہی نیک نفس انسان پاتے ہیں۔“

  1. یہاں لفظ”عزیز“ حضرت یوسفؑ کے لیے جو استعمال ہواہے  صرف اس بنا پر مفسرین نی قیاس کر لیا کہ حضرت  یوسفؑ اسی منصب پر مامور ہوئے تھے جس پر اس سے پہلے زلیخا کا سوہر مامور تھا۔ پھر اس پر مزید قیاسات کی عمار ت کھڑی کر لی گئی کہ سابق عزیز مر گیا تھا ، حضرت یوسفؑ اس کی جگہ مقرر کیے گئے ، زلیخا از سر نو معجزے کے ذریعہ سے جو ان کی گئی ، اور شاہ ِ مصر نے اس سے حضرت یوسفؑ کا نکا ح کر دیا۔ حد یہ ہے کہ شب عروسی میں حضرت یوسفؑ اور زلیخا  کے درمیان جو باتیں ہوئیں وہ تک کسی ذریعہ سے ہمارے مفسرین کیو پہنچ گئیں۔ حالانکہ یہ سب  باتیں سراسر وہم ہیں ۔ لفظ ”عزیز“ کے متعلق  ہم پہلے کہہ چکے ہیں کہ یہ مصر میں کسی خاص منصب کا نام نہ تھا بلکہ محض”صاحب اقتدار“ کے معنی میں استعمال کیا گیا ہے ۔ غالبًا  مصر میں بڑے لوگوں کے لیے اُس طرح کا کوئی لفظ اصطلاحًا رائج تھا جیسے ہمارے ملک میں لفظ”سرکار“ بولا جاتا ہے۔ اسی کا ترجمہ قرآن میں ”عزیز“ کیا گیا ہے۔ رہا زلیخا سے حضرت یوسفؑ کا نکاح، تو اس افسانے کی بنیاد صرف یہ ہے کہ  بائیبل اور تلمود میں فوطیفرع کی بیٹی آسناتھ سے اُن کے نکاح کی روایت بیان کی گئی ہے ۔ اور زلیخا کے شوہر کا نام فوطیفار تھا۔ یہ چیزیں  اسرائیلی روایات سے نقل در نقل ہوتی ہوئی مفسرین تک پہنچیں ور جیسا کہ زبانی  افواہوں کا قاعدہ  ہے ، فوطیفرع بآسانی فوطیفار بن گیا، بیٹی کی جگہ بیوی کو مل گئی اور بیوی لامحالہ زلیخا ہی تھی ، لہٰذا اس سے حضرت یوسفؑ کا نکاح کرنے کے لیے فوطیفار کو مار دیا گیا ، اور اس طرح ”یوسف زلیخا“ کی تصنیف مکمل ہو گئی۔

وہ کہنے لگے : اے عزیز (صاحب اختیار) ! اس کا والد جو ہے بہت بوڑھا ہے تو آپ اس کی جگہ ہم میں سے کسی ایک کو رکھ لیں ہم دیکھ رہے ہیں کہ آپ بڑے ہی نیک انسان ہیں

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 12:78, 12:79)

اِنَّا نَرٰىكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ یہ صورت حال ان لوگوں کے لیے بہت پریشان کن تھی۔ باپ کا اعتماد وہ پہلے ہی کھو چکے تھے۔ اس دفعہ اللہ کے نام پر عہد کر کے بن یامین کو اپنے ساتھ لائے تھے۔ اب خیال آتا تھا کہ اگر اسے یہاں چھوڑ کر واپس جاتے ہیں تو والد کو جا کر کیا منہ دکھائیں گے۔ چناچہ وہ گڑ گڑانے پر آگئے اور حضرت یوسف کی منت سماجت کرنے لگے کہ آپ بہت شریف اور نیک انسان ہیں ‘ آپ ہم میں سے کسی ایک کو اس کی جگہ اپنے پاس رکھ لیں مگر اس کو جانے دیں۔
