  1. قَالُوْۤاانہوں نے کہا
  2. اِنْاگر
  3. یَّسْرِقْاس نے چوری کی ہے
  4. فَقَدْتو تحقیق
  5. سَرَقَچوری کی تھی
  6. اَخٌبھائی نے
  7. لَّهٗاس کے
  8. مِنْاس کے
  9. قَبْلُ ۚقبل
  10. فَاَسَرَّهَاتو چھپالیا اس بات کو
  11. یُوْسُفُیوسف نے
  12. فِیْمیں
  13. نَفْسِهٖاپنے دل
  14. وَلَمْاور نہیں
  15. یُبْدِهَاظاہر کیا اس کو
  16. لَهُمْ ۚان کے لئیے
  17. قَالَکہا
  18. اَنْتُمْتم
  19. شَرٌّبرے ہو
  20. مَّكَانًا ۚمقام میں
  21. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  22. اَعْلَمُخوب جانتا ہے
  23. بِمَاساتھ اس کے
  24. تَصِفُوْنَجو کچھ تم بیان کر رہے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ان بھائیوں نے کہا”یہ چوری کرے تو کچھ تعجّب کی بات نہیں ، اس سے پہلے اس کا بھائی (یُوسُف ؑ)بھی چوری کر چکا ہے۔“1 یُوسُف ؑ ان کی یہ بات سُن کر پی گیا، حقیقت ان پر نہ کھولی، بس (زیرِ لب)اتنا کہہ کر رہ گیاکہ”بڑے ہی بُرے ہو تم لوگ،(میرے منہ در منہ مجھ پر)جو الزام تم لگا رہے ہو اس کی حقیقت خدا خوب جانتا ہے۔“

  1. یہ انہوں نے  اپنی خفت مٹانے کے لیے کہا ۔ پہلے کہہ چکے تھے کہ ہم لوگ چور نہیں ہیں۔ اب جو دیکھا کہ مال ہمارے بھائی کی خرجی سے برآمد ہوگیا ہے تو فوراً ایک جھوٹی  بات بنا کر اپنے آپ کو اس بھائی سے الگ کر لیا اور اس کے ساتھ اس کے پہلے بھائی کو بھی لپیٹ لیا۔ اس سے اندازہ  ہوتا ہے کہ حضرت یوسفؑ  کے پیچھے بن یمین کے ساتھ ان بھائیوں کا کیا سلو ک رہا ہو گا اور کس  بنا پر اس کی اور حضرت یوسفؑ کی یہ خواہش ہو گی  کہ وہ سن کے  ساتھ نہ جائے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر اس نے چوری کی ہے تو اس سے پہلے اس کا بھائی بھی چوری کرچکا ہے اس کو چھپائے رکھا یوسف نے اپنے جی میں اور ان پر ظاہر نہیں ہونے دیا آپ نے (دل ہی دل میں) کہا کہ تم بجائے خود بہت برے لوگ ہو اور جو کچھ تم بیان کر رہے ہو اللہ اس سے خوب واقف ہے

Commentary

آیت 77 قَالُوْٓا اِنْ يَّسْرِقْ فَقَدْ سَرَقَ اَخٌ لَّهٗ مِنْ قَبْلُ برادران یوسف کی طبیعت کا ہلکا پن ملاحظہ ہو کہ اس پر انہوں نے فوراً کہا کہ اگر اس نے چوری کی ہے تو اس سے یہ بعید نہیں تھا کیونکہ ایک زمانے میں اس کے ماں جائے بھائی یوسف نے بھی اسی طرح کی حرکت کی تھی۔قَالَ اَنْتُمْ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا ۚ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُوْنَ انہوں نے آپ پر بھی فوراً چوری کا بےبنیاد الزام لگا دیا مگر آپ نے کمال حکمت اور صبر سے اسے برداشت کیا اور اس پر کسی قسم کا کوئی رد عمل ظاہر نہیں کیا۔
