Surah 11, ayah 52

  1. وَیٰقَوْمِاور اے میری قوم
  2. اسْتَغْفِرُوْابخشش مانگو
  3. رَبَّكُمْاپنے رب سے
  4. ثُمَّپھر
  5. تُوْبُوْۤاتوبہ کرو
  6. اِلَیْهِاس کی طرف
  7. یُرْسِلِوہ بھیجے گا
  8. السَّمَآءَآسمان کو
  9. عَلَیْكُمْتم پر
  10. مِّدْرَارًابہت برسنے والا
  11. وَّیَزِدْكُمْاور زیادہ دے گا تم کو
  12. قُوَّةًقوت
  13. اِلٰیطرف
  14. قُوَّتِكُمْتمہاری قوت کے
  15. وَلَااور نہ
  16. تَتَوَلَّوْاتم منہ پھیرو
  17. مُجْرِمِیْنَمجرم بن کر

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور اے میری قوم کے لوگو، اپنے ربّ سے معافی چاہو، پھر اس کی طرف پلٹو، وہ تم پر آسمان کے دہانے کھول دے گا اور تمہاری موجودہ قوت پر مزید قوت کا اضافہ کرے گا۔1 مجرموں کی طرح منہ نہ پھیرو۔“

  1. یہ وہی بات ہے جو  پہلے رکوع میں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہلوائی گئی تھی کہ”اپنے رب سے معافی مانگو اور اس کی طرف پلٹ آؤ تو ہوہ تم  کو اچھا سامانِ زندگی دے گا“۔ اس سے معلوم ہوا کہ آخرت ہی میں نہیں اس دنیا میں بھی قوموں کی قسمتوں کا اتار چڑھاؤ اخلاقی  بنیادوں پر ہی ہوتا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ اس عالم پر جو فرمانروائی کر رہا ہے وہ اخلاقی اصولوں پر مبنی ہے  نہ کہ اُن  طبعی اصولوں پر  جو اخلاقی خیر و شر کے امتیاز خالی ہوں۔ یہ بات کئی مقامات پر قرآن میں فرمائی گئی ہے کہ جب ایک قوم کے پاس نبی کے ذریعہ سے خدا کا پیغام پہنچتا ہے تو اس کی قسمت  اُس پیغام کے ساتھ معلق ہو جاتی ہے۔ اگر وہ اسے قبول کر لیتی ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر اپنی نعمتوں اور برکتوں کے دروازے کھول دیتا ہے۔ اگر رد کر دیتی ہے تو  اسے تباہ کر ڈالا جاتا ہے ۔ یہ گویا  ایک دفعہ ہے اُس  اخلاقی قانون کی جس پر اللہ تعالیٰ انسان کے ساتھ  معاملہ کر رہا ہے۔ اِسی طرح اس قانون کی ایک دفعہ یہ بھی ہے کہ جو قوم دنیا کی خوشحالی  سے فریب کھا کر ظلم و معصیت  کی راہوں  پر چل نکلتی ہے اس کا انجام بربادی ہے۔ لیکن عین اس وقت جبکہ وہ اپنے اس بُرے انجام کی طرف بگ ٹُٹ چلی جا رہی ہو، اگر وہ اپنی غلطی کو محسوس کر لے اور نافرمانی چھوڑ کر خدا کی بندگی کی طرف پلٹ آئے تو اس کی قسمت بدل جاتی ہے ، اس کی مہلت عمل میں اضافہ  کر دیا جاتا ہے اور مستقل میں اس کے لیے  عذاب کے بجائے انعام، ترقی اور سرفرازی کا فیصلہ لکھ دیا جاتا ہے۔

اور اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! اپنے پروردگار سے استغفار کرو پھر اسی کی طرف رجوع کرو وہ آسمان سے تم پر خوب پانی برسائے گا اور تمہاری موجودہ قوت میں مزید قوت کا اضافہ فرمائے گا اور تم روگردانی نہ کرو مجرم بن کر

Commentary

آیت 52 وَیٰقَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُوْا رَبَّکُمْ ثُمَّ تُوْبُوْٓا اِلَیْہِ شرک ‘ بت پرستی کو چھوڑ دو اور اللہ سے اپنے اس گناہ کی معافی مانگو۔یُرْسِلِ السَّمَآءَ عَلَیْکُمْ مِّدْرَارًا وَّیَزِدْکُمْ قُوَّۃً اِلٰی قُوَّتِکُمْ وَلاَ تَتَوَلَّوْا مُجْرِمِیْنَ قرآن حکیم کے کئی مقامات سے یہ بات معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ کسی قوم کی طرف اپنا رسول اپنے پیغام کے ساتھ بھیجتا ہے تو اب اس قوم کی قسمت اس پیغام کے ساتھ معلق ہوجاتی ہے۔ اگر وہ قوم رسول پر ایمان لے آتی ہے اور اس پیغام کو قبول کرلیتی ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر اپنی نعمتوں کے دروازے کھول دیتا ہے بصورت دیگر اسے تباہ و برباد کردیا جاتا ہے۔
