پڑھو1 (اے نبیؐ) اپنے ربّ کے نام کے ساتھ2 جس نے پیدا کیا،3

جیسا کہ ہم نے دیباچہ میں بیان کیا ہے، فرشتے نے جب حضور ؑ سے کہا کہ پڑھو، تو حضورؑ نے جواب دیا کہ میں پڑھا ہوا نہیں ہوں۔ اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ فرشتے نے وحی کے یہ الفاظ لکھی ہوئی صورت میں آپ کے سامنے پیش کیے تھے اور اُنہیں پڑھنے کے لیے کہا تھا ۔ کیونکہ اگر فرشتے کی بات کا مطلب یہ ہوتا کہ جس طرح میں بولتا جا ؤں آپ اسی طرح پڑھتے جائیں، تو حضورؑ کو یہ کہنے کی کوئی ضرورت نہ ہوتی کہ میں پڑھا ہوا نہیں ہوں۔

یعنی اپنے رب کا نام لے کر پڑھو، یا بالفاظ دیگر بسم اللہ کہو اور پڑھو۔ اس سے یہ بات بھی معلوم ہوئی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اِس وحی کے آنے سے پہلے ہی صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کو اپنا رب جانتے اور مانتے تھے۔ اسی لیے یہ کہنے کی کوئی ضرورت پیش نہیں آئی کہ آپ کا رب کون ہے ، بلکہ یہ کہا گیا کہ اپنے رب کا نام لے کر پڑھو۔

مطلقاً ”پیدا کیا“فرمایا گیا ہے، یہ نہیں کیا گیا کہ کس کو پیدا کیا۔ اِس سے خود بخود یہ مفہوم نکلتا ہے کہ اُس رب کا نام لے کر پڑھو جو خالق ہے، جس نے ساری کائنات اور کائنات کی ہر چیز کو پیدا کیا ہے۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 95:8, 96:1, 96:2, 96:3)
آیت 8{ اَلَیْسَ اللّٰہُ بِاَحْکَمِ الْحٰکِمِیْنَ۔ } ”کیا اللہ تمام حاکموں سے بڑا حاکم نہیں ہے ؟“ دنیا میں تم لوگ چھوٹے چھوٹے حاکموں کو دیکھتے ہو کہ وہ اپنے غداروں اور باغیوں کو عبرتناک سزا دیتے ہیں اور اپنے وفاداروں کو انعام و اکرام سے نوازتے ہیں۔ کیا دنیا میں تم نے کوئی ایسا حاکم بھی دیکھا ہے جو اپنے باغیوں اور وفاداروں کو ایک ہی صف میں کھڑا کر دے ؟ اگر دنیا میں محدود اختیار کا مالک کوئی حاکم ایسا نہیں کرتا تو وہ اللہ عزوجل اپنے فرمانبردار بندوں اور نافرمانوں کو کیسے برابر کر دے گا جو سب حاکموں سے بڑا حاکم ہے ؟ کیا تم اللہ تعالیٰ کو احکم الحاکمین نہیں مانتے ہو ؟ مسند احمد ‘ سنن الترمذی ‘ سنن ابی دائود اور دیگر کتب حدیث میں حضرت ابوہریرہ رض سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی سورة التین پڑھے اور اَلَیْسَ اللّٰہُ بِاَحْکَمِ الْحٰکِمِیْنَپر پہنچے تو کہے : بلٰی وانا علٰی ذٰلک من الشاھدین ”کیوں نہیں ! اور میں اس پر شہادت دینے والوں میں سے ہوں“۔ بعض روایات میں آتا ہے کہ حضور ﷺ جب یہ آیت پڑھتے تو فرماتے : سُبْحَانَکَ فَبَلٰی !
