- اِلَّاسوائے
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
- عٰهَدْتُّمْجن سے عہد کیا تم نے
- مِّنَسے
- الْمُشْرِكِیْنَمشرکین میں (سے)
- ثُمَّپھر
- لَمْنہیں
- یَنْقُصُوْكُمْانہوں نے کمی کی تم سے
- شَیْـًٔاکچھ بھی
- وَّلَمْاور نہیں
- یُظَاهِرُوْاانہوں نے پشت پناہی کی
- عَلَیْكُمْتمہارے خلاف
- اَحَدًاکسی کی
- فَاَتِمُّوْۤاتو پورا کرو
- اِلَیْهِمْان کی طرف
- عَهْدَهُمْان کے عہد کو
- اِلٰیتک
- مُدَّتِهِمْ ؕان کی مدت تک
- اِنَّبیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
- یُحِبُّپسند کرتا ہے
- الْمُتَّقِیْنَتقوی والوں کو

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
بجز اُن مشرکین کے جن سے تم نے معاہدے کیے پھر اُنہوں نے اپنے عہد کو پورا کرنے میں تمہارے ساتھ کوئی کمی نہیں کی اور نہ تمہارے خلاف کسی کی مدد کی، تو ایسے لوگوں کے ساتھ تم بھی مُدتِ معاہدہ تک وفا کرو کیونکہ اللہ متقیوں ہی کو پسند کرتا ہے۔1
