  1. وَاِذْاور جب
  2. زَیَّنَخوبصورت بنادیا
  3. لَهُمُان کے لیے
  4. الشَّیْطٰنُشیطان نے
  5. اَعْمَالَهُمْان کے اعمال کو
  6. وَقَالَاور کہا
  7. لَانہیں
  8. غَالِبَکوئی غالب آنے والا
  9. لَكُمُتم پر
  10. الْیَوْمَآج کے دن
  11. مِنَسے
  12. النَّاسِلوگوں میں سے
  13. وَاِنِّیْاور بیشک میں
  14. جَارٌہمسایہ ہوں
  15. لَّكُمْ ۚتمہارا
  16. فَلَمَّاتو جب
  17. تَرَآءَتِآمنے سامنے ہوئے
  18. الْفِئَتٰنِدو گروہ
  19. نَكَصَالٹے پاؤ بھاگا۔ پلٹ گیا
  20. عَلٰیپر
  21. عَقِبَیْهِاپنی دونوں ایڑیوں پر
  22. وَقَالَاس نے کہا۔ بولا
  23. اِنِّیْبیشک میں
  24. بَرِیْٓءٌبری الذمہ ہوں
  25. مِّنْكُمْتم سے
  26. اِنِّیْۤبیشک میں
  27. اَرٰیمیں دیکھتا ہوں
  28. مَاجو
  29. لَانہیں
  30. تَرَوْنَتم دیکھتے
  31. اِنِّیْۤبیشک میں
  32. اَخَافُمیں ڈرتا ہوں
  33. اللّٰهَ ؕاللہ سے
  34. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  35. شَدِیْدُسخت
  36. الْعِقَابِسزا دینے والا ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ذرا خیال کرو اس وقت کا جب کہ شیطان نے ان لوگوں کے کرتوت ان کی نگاہوں میں خوشنما بنا کر دکھائے تھے اور ان سے کہا تھا کہ آج کوئی تم پر غالب نہیں آ سکتا اور یہ کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں مگر جب دونوں گروہوں کا آمنا سامنا ہوا تو وہ اُلٹے پاؤں پھر گیا اور کہنے لگا کہ میرا تمہارا ساتھ نہیں ہے، میں وہ کچھ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم لوگ نہیں دیکھتے، مجھے خدا سے ڈر لگتا ہے اور خدا بڑی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جب شیطان نے ان کے لیے ان کے اعمال کو مزین کردیا تھا اور اس نے (ان سے) کہا تھا کہ آج تم پر انسانوں میں سے کوئی غالب نہیں آسکتا اور میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ ہی ہوں پھر جب دونوں لشکر آمنے سامنے ہوئے تو وہ اپنی ایڑیوں کے بل پیچھے پھر گیا اور کہنے لگا کہ میں تم سے لا تعلق ہوں میں وہ کچھ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم نہیں دیکھ رہے ہو مجھے اللہ کا خوف ہے۔ اور اللہ سزا دینے میں بہت سخت ہے۔

Commentary

آیت 48 وَاِذْ زَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الشَّیْطٰنُ اَعْمَالَہُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَکُمُ الْیَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ یعنی ان کے دلوں میں شیطان نے متکبرانہ خیالات پیدا کردیے تھے اور انہیں خوش فہمی میں مبتلا کردیا تھا کہ تمہارا یہ سازوسامان ‘ یہ اسلحہ ‘ یہ اتنا بڑا لشکر ‘ یہ سب کچھ غیر معمولی اور انہونی صورت حال ہے۔ عرب کی تاریخ میں اس طرح کے مواقع بہت کم ملتے ہیں۔ کس میں ہمت ہے کہ آج اس لشکر کے سامنے ٹھہر سکے اور کس کے پاس اتنی طاقت ہے کہ آج تمہارے اوپر غلبہ پا سکے ؟وَاِنِّیْ جَارٌ لَّکُمْ ج فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَ تِ الْفِءَتٰنِ نَکَصَ عَلٰی عَقِبَیْہِ وَقَالَ اِنِّیْ بَرِیْٓءٌ مِّنْکُمْ اِنِّیْٓ اَرٰی مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ چونکہ ابلیس عزازیل کی تخلیق آگ سے ہوئی ہے ‘ لہٰذا ناری مخلوق ہونے کی وجہ سے اس نے فرشتوں کو نازل ہوتے دیکھ لیا اور یہ کہتے ہوئے الٹے پاؤں بھاگ کھڑا ہوا کہ میں تو یہاں وہ کچھ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم لوگوں کو نظر نہیں آ رہا ہے۔
