- فَلَمْتو نہیں
- تَقْتُلُوْهُمْتم نے قتل کیا ان کو
- وَلٰكِنَّاور بلکہ
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ نے
- قَتَلَهُمْ ۪قتل کیا ان کو
- وَمَااور نہیں
- رَمَیْتَتم نے پھینکا
- اِذْجب
- رَمَیْتَتم نے پھینکا تھا
- وَلٰكِنَّاور بلکہ
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ نے
- رَمٰی ۚپھینکا تھا
- وَلِیُبْلِیَاور تاکہ آزمائے
- الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَمومنوں کو
- مِنْهُاس سے
- بَلَآءًآزمائش
- حَسَنًا ؕاچھی
- اِنَّبیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
- سَمِیْعٌسننے والا ہے
- عَلِیْمٌجاننے والا ہے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
پس حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تم نے انہیں قتل نہیں کیا بلکہ اللہ نے ان کو قتل کیا اور تُو نے نہیں پھینکا بلکہ اللہ نے پھینکا1 ( اور مومنوں کے ہاتھ جو اس کام میں استعمال کیے گئے) تو یہ اس لیے تھا کہ اللہ مومنوں کو ایک بہترین آزمائش سے کامیابی کے ساتھ گزار دے ، یقیناً اللہ سُننے اور جاننے والا ہے

معرکہ بدر میں جب مسلمانوں اور کفار کے لشکر ایک دوسرے کے مقابل ہوئے اور عام زدوخورد کا موقع آگیا تو حضور ؐ نے مٹھی بھر ریت ہاتھ میں لے کر شاھتِ الوُجُوہ کہتے ہوئے کفار کی طرف پھینکی اور اس کے ساتھ ہی آپ کے اشارے سے مسلمان یکبار گی کفار پر حملہ آور ہوئے۔ اسی واقعہ کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔
