- فَلَمْتو نہیں
- تَقْتُلُوْهُمْتم نے قتل کیا ان کو
- وَلٰكِنَّاور بلکہ
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ نے
- قَتَلَهُمْ ۪قتل کیا ان کو
- وَمَااور نہیں
- رَمَیْتَتم نے پھینکا
- اِذْجب
- رَمَیْتَتم نے پھینکا تھا
- وَلٰكِنَّاور بلکہ
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ نے
- رَمٰی ۚپھینکا تھا
- وَلِیُبْلِیَاور تاکہ آزمائے
- الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَمومنوں کو
- مِنْهُاس سے
- بَلَآءًآزمائش
- حَسَنًا ؕاچھی
- اِنَّبیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
- سَمِیْعٌسننے والا ہے
- عَلِیْمٌجاننے والا ہے

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
پس (اے مسلمانو !) تم نے انہیں قتل نہیں کیا بلکہ اللہ نے انہیں قتل کیا اور جب آپ ﷺ نے (ان پر کنکریاں) پھینکی تھیں تو وہ آپ ﷺ نے نہیں پھینکی تھیں بلکہ اللہ نے پھینکی تھیں تاکہ اللہ اس سے اہل ایمان کے جوہر نکھارے خوب اچھی طرح سے یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ سب کچھ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

Commentary
آیت 17 فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوْہُمْ وَلٰکِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَتَلَہُمْ ویسے تو ہر کام میں فاعل حقیقی اللہ ہی ہے ‘ ہم جو کام بھی کرتے ہیں وہ اللہ ہی کی مشیت سے ممکن ہوتا ہے ‘ اور جس شے کے اندر جو بھی تاثیر ہے وہ بھی اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے۔ عام حالات کے لیے بھی اگرچہ یہی قاعدہ ہے : لَا فَاعِلَ فِی الْحَقِیْقَۃِ وَلَا مُؤَثِّرَ الاَّ اللّٰہ لیکن یہ تو مخصوص حالات تھے جن میں اللہ کی خصوصی مدد آئی تھی۔وَمَا رَمَیْتَ اِذْ رَمَیْتَ وَلٰکِنَّ اللّٰہَ رَمٰی ج میدان جنگ میں جب دونوں لشکر آمنے سامنے ہوئے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کچھ کنکریاں اپنی مٹھی میں لیں اور شاھَتِ الْوجُوْہ چہرے بگڑ جائیں فرماتے ہوئے کفار کی طرف پھینکیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جانتا ہے کہ وہ کنکریاں کہاں کہاں تک پہنچی ہوں گی اور ان کے کیسے کیسے اثرات کفار پر مرتب ہوئے ہوں گے۔ بہر حال یہاں پر آپ ﷺ کے اس عمل کو بھی اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی طرف منسوب کر رہا ہے کہ اے نبی ﷺ جب وہ کنکریاں آپ نے پھینکی تھیں ‘ تو وہ آپ ﷺ نے نہیں پھینکی تھیں بلکہ اللہ نے پھینکی تھیں۔ اسی بات کو اقبال ؔ نے ان الفاظ میں بیان کیا ہے : ع ہاتھ ہے اللہ کا بندۂ مومن کا ہاتھ !وَلِیُبْلِیَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنْہُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًا ط۔اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ایسی آزمائشیں اپنے بندوں کی مخفی صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے ہوتی ہیں۔ بَلَا ‘ یَبْلُو ‘ بَلَاءًکے معنی ہیں آزمانا ‘ تکلیف اور آزمائش میں ڈال کر کسی کو پرکھنا ‘ لیکن اَبْلٰی ‘ یُبْلِی جب باب افعال سے آتا ہے تو کسی کے جوہر نکھارنے کے معنی دیتا ہے۔
