Surah 72, ayah 7

  1. وَّاَنَّهُمْاور بیشک وہ
  2. ظَنُّوْاسمجھتے تھے
  3. كَمَاجیسا کہ
  4. ظَنَنْتُمْتم نے سمجھا
  5. اَنْکہ
  6. لَّنْہرگز نہیں
  7. یَّبْعَثَبھیجے گا
  8. اللّٰهُاللہ
  9. اَحَدًاکسی ایک کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور یہ کہ”انسانوں نے بھی وہی گمان کیا جیسا تمھارا گمان تھا کہ اللہ کسی کو رسُول بنا کر نہ بھیجے گا۔“1

  1. اصل الفاظ ہیں اَنْ لَّنْ یَّبْعَثَ اللہ ُ اَحَدًا۔ اِس فقرے کے دو معنی ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ایک وہ جو ہم نے ترجمہ میں اختیار کیے ہیں۔ دوسرے یہ کہ ”اللہ کسی کو مرنے کے بعد دوبارہ نہ اٹھائے گا“۔ چونکہ الفاظ جامع ہیں اس لیے ان کا یہ مطلب لیا جا سکتا ہے کہ انسانوں کی طرح جِنوں میں بھی رسالت اور آخرت دونوں کا انکار پا یا جاتا تھا ۔ لیکن آگے کے مضمون کی مناسبت سے پہلا مفہوم ہی زیادہ قابلِ تر جیح ہے ، کیونکہ اس میں یہ ایمان لانے والے جِن اپنی قوم کے لوگوں کو بتاتے ہیں کہ تمہارا یہ خیال غلط نکلا کہ اللہ کسی رسول کو مبعوث کرنے والا  نہیں ہے، آسمانوں کے دروازے ہم پر اسی وجہ سے بند کیے گئے ہیں کہ اللہ نے ایک رسول بھیج دیا ہے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور یہ کہ انہوں نے بھی ایسا ہی سمجھا جیسا کہ تم نے سمجھا ہوا ہے کہ اللہ کسی کو ہرگز نہیں اٹھائے گا۔

Commentary

آیت 7{ وَّاَنَّـہُمْ ظَنُّوْا کَمَا ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ لَّنْ یَّـبْعَثَ اللّٰہُ اَحَدًا۔ } ”اور یہ کہ انہوں نے بھی ایسا ہی سمجھا جیسا کہ تم نے سمجھا ہوا ہے کہ اللہ کسی کو ہرگز نہیں اٹھائے گا۔“ اس کا ایک مفہوم تو یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کسی کو بھی مرنے کے بعد دوبارہ نہیں اٹھائے گا ‘ یعنی بعث بعد الموت کے عقیدے میں کوئی حقیقت نہیں۔ اور دوسرا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ اب اللہ تعالیٰ کسی کو بھی رسول بنا کر نہیں بھیجے گا۔ سورة الاحقاف میں جنات کے تذکرے کے حوالے سے ہمیں یہ بھی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ وہ جنات تورات سے واقف تھے اور وہ اس حقیقت سے بھی آگاہ تھے کہ پچھلے چھ سو برس سے دنیا میں کوئی رسول نہیں آیا حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اور حضور ﷺ کے درمیان تقریباً چھ سو برس کا زمانہ انسانی تاریخ میں سلسلہ رسالت کے انقطاع کا طویل ترین وقفہ ہے۔ چناچہ اپنی ان معلومات کی بنیاد پر جنات یہ سمجھے بیٹھے تھے کہ رسالت کا دروازہ اب ہمیشہ کے لیے بند ہوچکا ہے اور یہ کہ اب دنیا میں کوئی رسول نہیں آئے گا۔
