- وَاكْتُبْاور لکھ دے
- لَنَاہمارے لیے
- فِیْمیں
- هٰذِهِاس
- الدُّنْیَادنیا
- حَسَنَةًبھلائی
- وَّفِیاور میں
- الْاٰخِرَةِآخرت
- اِنَّابیشک ہم نے
- هُدْنَاۤہم نے توبہ کی
- اِلَیْكَ ؕتیری طرف
- قَالَفرمایا
- عَذَابِیْۤمیرا عذاب
- اُصِیْبُمیں پہنچاؤں گا
- بِهٖاس کو
- مَنْجس کو
- اَشَآءُ ۚمیں چاہوں گا
- وَرَحْمَتِیْاور میری رحمت
- وَسِعَتْچھائی ہوئی ہے
- كُلَّہر
- شَیْءٍ ؕچیز پر
- فَسَاَكْتُبُهَاپس عنقریب
- لِلَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کے لیے
- یَتَّقُوْنَجو تقوی اختیار کرتے ہیں
- وَیُؤْتُوْنَاور دیتے ہیں
- الزَّكٰوةَزکوۃ
- وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
- هُمْوہ
- بِاٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات پر
- یُؤْمِنُوْنَایمان رکھتے ہیں

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور تو ہمارے لیے اس دنیا (کی زندگی) میں بھی بھلائی لکھ دے اور آخرت میں بھی ہم تیری جناب میں رجوع کرتے ہیں (اللہ نے) فرمایا کہ میں عذاب میں مبتلا کروں گا جس کو چاہوں گا اور میری رحمت ہر شے پر چھائی ہوئی ہے تو اسے میں لکھ دوں گا ان لوگوں کے لیے جو تقویٰ کی روش اختیار کریں گے زکوٰۃ دیتے رہیں گے اور جو لوگ ہماری آیات پر پختہ ایمان رکھیں گے

Commentary
آیت 156 وَاکْتُبْ لَنَا فِیْ ہٰذِہِ الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اپنی قوم کے لیے جو دعا کی ‘ یہ وہی الفاظ ہیں جو سورة البقرۃ میں مسلمانوں کو سکھائے گئے ہیں : رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَاحَسَنَۃً وَّفِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً وَّقِنَا عَذَاب النَّارِ اِنَّا ہُدْنَآ اِلَیْکَ ط۔ یعنی ہم سے جو خطا ہوگئی ہے اس کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے ہم معافی چاہتے ہیں۔ قَالَ عَذَابِیْٓ اُصِیْبُ بِہٖ مَنْ اَشَآءُج وَرَحْمَتِیْ وَسِعَتْ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ ط rٰ علیہ السلام ٰ علیہ السلام یعنی میری ایک رحمت تو وہ ہے جو ہر شے کے شامل حال ہے ‘ ہر شے پر محیط ہے۔ ہر شے کا وجود اور بقا میری رحمت ہی سے ممکن ہے۔ یہ پوری کائنات اور اس کا تسلسل میری رحمت ہی کا مرہون منت ہے۔ میری اس رحمت عامہ سے میری تمام مخلوقات حصہ پا رہی ہیں ‘ لیکن جہاں تک میری رحمت خاصہ کا تعلق ہے جس کے لیے تم لوگ ابھی سوال کر رہے ہو :
