  1. اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی لوگ
  2. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ ہیں
  3. اٰتَیْنٰهُمُدی ہم نے ان کو
  4. الْكِتٰبَکتاب
  5. وَالْحُكْمَاور حکمت۔ قوت فیصلہ
  6. وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ۚاور نبوت ۚ
  7. فَاِنْپھر اگر
  8. یَّكْفُرْکفر کرتے ہیں
  9. بِهَااس کا
  10. هٰۤؤُلَآءِیہ لوگ
  11. فَقَدْتو تحقیق
  12. وَكَّلْنَامقرر کردیا ہم نے
  13. بِهَاساتھ اس کے
  14. قَوْمًاایک قوم کو
  15. لَّیْسُوْانہیں ہیں وہ
  16. بِهَاساتھ اس کے
  17. بِكٰفِرِیْنَانکار کرنے والے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ لوگ تھے جن کو ہم نے کتاب اور حکم اور نبوت عطا کی تھی۔1اب اگر یہ لوگ اس کو ماننے سے انکار کرتے ہیں تو (پروا نہیں) ہم نے کچھ اور لوگوں کو یہ نعمت سونپ دی ہے جو اس سے منکر نہیں ہیں۔2

  1. یہاں انبیاء علیہم السّلام کو تین چیزیں عطا کیے جانے کا ذکر کیا گیا ہے۔ ایک کتاب یعنی اللہ کا ہدایت نامہ دوسرے حُکم یعنی اس ہدایت نامہ کا صحیح فہم ، اور اس کے اُصُولوں کو معاملات ِ زندگی پر منطبق کرنے کی صلاحیت اور مسائل ِ حیات میں فیصلہ کُن رائے قائم کرنے کی خداداد قابلیت ۔ تیسرے نبوّت ، یعنی یہ منصب کہ وہ اس ہدایت نامہ کے مطابق خلق اللہ کی رہنمائی کریں۔

  2. مطلب یہ ہے کہ اگر یہ کافر و مشرک لوگ اللہ کی اس ہدایت کو قبول کرنے سے انکار کرتے ہیں تو کردیں، ہم نے اہل ِ ایمان کا ایک ایسا گروہ پیدا کر دیا ہے جو اس نعمت کی قدر کرنے والا ہے۔
