  1. ذٰلِكَیہ
  2. هُدَیہدایت ہے
  3. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  4. یَهْدِیْوہ ہدایت دیتا ہے
  5. بِهٖساتھ اس کے
  6. مَنْجس کو
  7. یَّشَآءُچاہتا ہے
  8. مِنْمیں سے
  9. عِبَادِهٖ ؕاپنے بندوں
  10. وَلَوْاور اگر
  11. اَشْرَكُوْاوہ سب شرک کرتے
  12. لَحَبِطَالبتہ ضائع ہوجاتے
  13. عَنْهُمْان سے
  14. مَّاجو
  15. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  16. یَعْمَلُوْنَعمل کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ اللہ کی ہدایت ہے جس کے ساتھ وہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کی چاہتا ہے رہنمائی کرتا ہے۔ لیکن اگر کہیں ان لوگوں نے شرک کیا ہوتا تو ان کا سب کیا کرایا غارت ہوجاتا۔1

  1. یعنی جس شرک میں تم لوگ مبتلا ہو اگر کہیں وہ بھی اسی میں مُبتلا ہوئے ہوتے تو یہ مرتبے ہر گز نہ پا سکتے تھے۔ ممکن تھا کہ کوئی شخص کامیاب ڈاکہ زنی کر کےفاتح کی حیثیت سے دنیا میں شہرت پا لیتا، یا زر پرستی میں کما پیدا کر کے قارُون کا سا نام پیدا کر لیتا ، یا کسی اَور صُورت سے دُنیا کے بدکاروں میں نامور بدکار بن جاتا۔ لیکن یہ امامِ ہدایت  اور امام المتّقین ہونے کا شرف اور یہ دُنیا بھر کے لیے خیر و صلاح کا سرچشمہ ہونے کا مقام تو کوئی بھی نہ پاسکتا اگر شرک سے مجتنب اور خالص خدا پرستی کی راہ پر ثابت قدم نہ ہوتا۔
