وَلَوْاور کاش
تَرٰۤیتم دیکھو
اِذْجب
وُقِفُوْاوہ کھڑے کیے جائیں گے
عَلَیاوپر
النَّارِآگ کے
فَقَالُوْاتو وہ کہیں گے
یٰلَیْتَنَاہائے افسوس ہم پر
نُرَدُّہم لوٹائے جائیں
وَلَااور نہ
نُكَذِّبَہم جھٹلائیں
بِاٰیٰتِآیات کو
رَبِّنَااپنے رب کی
وَنَكُوْنَاور ہم ہوں
مِنَمیں سے
الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَمومنوں
۟

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور کاش تم دیکھ پاتے جب یہ کھڑے کیے جائیں گے آگ کے کنارے پر تو یہ کہیں گے ہائے کاش ! کسی طرح ہمیں لوٹا دیا جائے (تو ہم تصدیق کریں گے) اور ہم اپنے رب کی آیات کو نہیں جھٹلائیں گے اور ہم (پکے اور سچے) مؤمن بن جائیں گے

Commentary

آیت 27 وَلَوْ تَرٰٓی اِذْ وُقِفُوْا عَلَی النَّارِ فَقَالُوْا یٰلَیْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلاَ نُکَذِّبَ بِاٰیٰتِ رَبِّنَا یہاں پر نُرَدُّ کے بعد فَنُصَدِّقُ مخذوف مانا جائے گا ‘ کہ اگر ہمیں لوٹا دیا جائے تو ہم تصدیق کریں گے اور اپنے رب کی آیات کو جھٹلائیں گے نہیں۔ کاش کسی نہ کسی طرح ایک دفعہ پھر ہمیں دنیا میں واپس بھیج دیا جائے۔
