Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کوئی مصیبت  ایسی نہیں ہے جو زمین میں یا تمہارے اپنے نفس پر نازل ہوتی ہو اور ہم نے اس کو  پیدا کرنے سے پہلے1 ایک کتاب میں لکھ نہ رکھا ہو۔2 ایسا کرنا اللہ کے لیے بہت آسان کام ہے۔3

Bayan-ul-Quran

نہیں پڑتی کوئی پڑنے والی مصیبت زمین میں اور نہ تمہاری اپنی جانوں میں مگر یہ کہ وہ ایک کتاب میں درج ہے اس سے پہلے کہ ہم اسے ظاہر کریں۔ یقینا یہ اللہ پر بہت آسان ہے۔

Commentary

آیت 22{ مَـآ اَصَابَ مِنْ مُّصِیْبَۃٍ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِیْٓ اَنْفُسِکُمْ اِلاَّ فِیْ کِتٰبٍ مِّنْ قَـبْلِ اَنْ نَّــبْرَاَھَا } ”نہیں پڑتی کوئی پڑنے والی مصیبت زمین میں اور نہ تمہاری اپنی جانوں میں مگر یہ کہ وہ ایک کتاب میں درج ہے ‘ اس سے پہلے کہ ہم اسے ظاہر کریں۔“ اَصَابَ یُصِیْبُ آپڑنا ‘ نازل ہونا سے اسم الفاعل ”مُصِیْب“ ہے اور اس کی مونث ”مُصِیْبَۃ“ ہے ‘ جس کے معنی ہیں نازل ہونے یا آپڑنے والی شے۔ چناچہ لغوی اعتبار سے تمام حوادث ‘ واقعات ‘ کیفیات جو ہم پر وارد ہوتی ہیں ‘ وہ سب کی سب اس میں شامل ہوجائیں گی ‘ لیکن عام طور پر یہ لفظ تکلیف دہ ‘ ناگوار اور ناپسندیدہ چیزوں کے لیے استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ اس آیت کی رو سے مصیبتیں دو قسم کی ہیں۔ یا تو آفاتِ ارضی و سماوی یعنی آفاقی مصیبتیں ‘ جو زمین پر بڑے پیمانے پر نازل ہوتی ہیں ‘ مثلاً سیلاب ‘ زلزلے ‘ طوفانِ باد و باراں وغیرہ ‘ یا انسانوں کی اپنی جانوں پر کوئی مصیبت آن پڑتی ہے ‘ مثلاً کوئی بیماری یا کوئی عارضہ لاحق ہوگیا یا کوئی حادثہ پیش آگیا۔ یہاں واضح فرما دیا گیا کہ دنیا میں جہاں کہیں بھی انسانوں پر اجتماعی یا انفرادی طور پر کسی بھی شکل میں کوئی مصیبت ‘ آفت یا تکلیف آتی ہے اس کے معرض وجود میں آنے سے قبل اس کی پوری تفصیل اللہ کے علم قدیم میں پہلے سے موجود ہوتی ہے۔ { اِنَّ ذٰلِکَ عَلَی اللّٰہِ یَسِیْرٌ} ”یقینا یہ اللہ پر بہت آسان ہے۔“ انسانوں کو یہ بات بیشک عجیب یا مشکل لگے ‘ مگر اللہ کا علم مَا کَانَ وَمَا یَکُوْنُ پر محیط ہے۔ اس کے لیے کائنات کی ایک ایک چیز کا پوری تفصیل سے احاطہ کرنا کچھ بھی مشکل نہیں۔ یہ بات تم لوگوں کو بھلا کیوں بتائی جا رہی ہے ؟ اس لیے :
