- اَهْلَكْنَاہلاک کیں ہم نے
- قَبْلَهُمْان سے پہلے
- مِّنْسے
- قَرْنٍبستیوں میں (سے )
- هُمْوہ
- اَشَدُّزیادہ شدید تھیں
- مِنْهُمْان سے
- بَطْشًاپکڑ میں
- فَنَقَّبُوْاتو انہوں نے چھان مارا تھا

Tafheem-ul-Quran
ہم ان سے پہلے بہت سی قوموں کو ہلاک کر چکے ہیں جو ان سے بہت زیادہ طاقتور تھیں اور دنیا کے ملکوں کو انہوں نے چھان مارا تھا۔1 پھر کیا وہ کوئی جائے پناہ پا سکے؟2

یعنی صرف اپنے ملک ہی میں وہ زور آور نہ تھیں بلکہ دنیا کے دوسرے ملکوں میں بھی وہ جا گھسی تھیں اور ان کی تاخت(طاقت) کا سلسلہ روئے زمیں پر دور دور تک پہنچا ہوا تھا۔

یعنی جب خدا کی طرف سے ان کی پکڑ کا وقت آیا تو کیا ان کی وہ طاقت ان کو بچادسکی؟ اور کیا دنیا میں پھر کہیں ان کو پناہ مل سکی؟ اب آخر تم کس بھروسے پر یہ امید رکھتے ہو کہ خدا کے مقابلے میں بغاوت کر کے تمہیں کہیں پناہ مل جائے گی؟
