- وَقَالَتِاور کہا
- الْیَهُوْدُیہود نے
- وَالنَّصٰرٰیاور نصاری نے
- نَحْنُہم
- اَبْنٰٓؤُابیٹے ہیں
- اللّٰهِاللہ کے
- وَاَحِبَّآؤُهٗ ؕاور اس کے پیارے ۔ لاڈلے ہیں
- قُلْکہہ دیجیے
- فَلِمَپھر کیوں
- یُعَذِّبُكُمْوہ عذاب دیتا تم کو
- بِذُنُوْبِكُمْ ؕبوجہ تمہارے گناہوں کے
- بَلْبلکہ
- اَنْتُمْتم
- بَشَرٌایک انسان ہو
- مِّمَّنْان میں سے
- خَلَقَ ؕجن کو اس نے پیدا کیا
- یَغْفِرُبخش دے گا وہ
- لِمَنْواسطے جس کے
- یَّشَآءُچاہے گا وہ
- وَیُعَذِّبُاور عذاب دے گا
- مَنْجس کو
- یَّشَآءُ ؕچاہے گا وہ
- وَلِلّٰهِاور اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے
- مُلْكُبادشاہت
- السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں کی
- وَالْاَرْضِاور زمین کی
- وَمَااور جو
- بَیْنَهُمَا ؗان دونوں کے درمیان ہے
- وَاِلَیْهِاور اسی کی طرف
- الْمَصِیْرُلوٹنا ہے

Bayan-ul-Quran
یہودی اور نصرانی کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کے بیٹے ہیں اور اس کے بڑے چہیتے ہیں (تو ان سے) کہیے کہ پھر وہ تمہیں عذاب کیوں دیتا رہا ہے تمہارے گناہوں کی پاداش میں ؟ وہ جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے سزا دیتا ہے اور اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے آسمانوں اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے سب کی بادشاہی اور اسی کی طرف لوٹ کرجانا ہے

Commentary
آیت 18 وَقَالَتِ الْیَہُوْدُ وَالنَّصٰرٰی نَحْنُ اَبْنآؤُا اللّٰہِ وَاَحِبَّآؤُہٗ ط یعنی بیٹوں کی مانند ہیں ‘ بڑے لاڈلے اور پیارے ہیں۔قُلْ فَلِمَ یُعَذِّبُکُمْ بِذُنُوْبِکُمْ ط اگر تم اللہ کی اولاد ہو ‘ اس کے بڑے چہیتے ہو ‘ تو کیا اسی لیے بخت نصر Nebukadnezar کے ہاتھوں اس نے تمہیں پٹوایا ‘ تمہارے چھ لاکھ افراد قتل کر وا دیے ‘ چھ لاکھ قیدی بنے ‘ تمہارا ہیکل اوّل بھی شہید کردیا گیا۔ پھر آشوریوں نے تمہاری سلطنت اسرائیل کو روند ڈالا۔ پھر یونانیوں کے ہاتھوں تمہارا استحاصل ہوا۔ پھر رومیوں نے تمہارے اوپر ظلم و بربریت کے پہاڑ توڑے اور رومن جنرل طیطس Titus نے تمہارا دوسرا ہیکل بھی مسمار کردیا۔ کیا ایسے ہی لاڈلے ہوتے ہیں اللہ کے ؟ کیا اللہ اتنا ہی لاچار اور عاجز ہے کہ اپنے لاڈلوں کو ذلت و خواری اور ظلم و ستم سے بچا نہیں سکتا ؟بَلْ اَنْتُمْ بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ط نہیں بلکہ تم بھی انسان ہو جیسے دوسرے انسان اس نے پیدا کیے ہیں۔
