  1. فَلَمَّاتو جب
  2. جَآءَتْهُمْآئے ان کے پاس
  3. رُسُلُهُمْان کے رسول
  4. بِالْبَیِّنٰتِساتھ روشن دلائل کے
  5. فَرِحُوْاتو وہ خوش ہوئے
  6. بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
  7. عِنْدَهُمْان کے پاس تھا
  8. مِّنَسے
  9. الْعِلْمِعلم میں (سے)
  10. وَحَاقَاور گھیر لیا
  11. بِهِمْان کو
  12. مَّاجو
  13. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  14. بِهٖاس کا
  15. یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَوہ مذاق اڑاتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جب ان کے رسُول ان کے پاس بیّنات لے کر آئے تو وہ اُسی علم میں مگن رہے جو ان کے اپنے پاس تھا،1اور پھر اُسی چیز کے پھیر میں آگئے جس کا وہ مذاق اُڑاتے تھے

تو جب آگئے ان کے پاس ان کے رسول واضح نشانیاں لے کر تو وہ اتراتے رہے اسی پر جو بھی علم ان کے پاس تھا اور گھیرے میں لے لیا انہیں اسی چیز نے جس کا وہ مذاق اڑاتے تھے

Commentary

آیت 83 { فَلَمَّا جَآئَ تْہُمْ رُسُلُہُمْ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ } ”تو جب آگئے ان کے پاس ان کے رسول واضح نشانیاں لے کر“ الْبَیِّنٰتِسے مراد حسی معجزات بھی ہیں اور واضح تعلیمات اور دلائل بھی۔ { فَرِحُوْا بِمَا عِنْدَہُمْ مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِہِمْ مَّا کَانُوْا بِہٖ یَسْتَھْزِئُ وْنَ } ”تو وہ اتراتے رہے اسی پر جو بھی علم ان کے پاس تھا اور گھیرے میں لے لیا انہیں اسی چیز نے جس کا وہ مذاق اڑاتے تھے۔“ وہ لوگ اپنے آبائی عقائد و توہمات پر جمے رہے اور انہی کو اپنے لیے باعث فخر سمجھتے رہے۔ اسی وجہ سے انہوں نے اس حق کا بھی مذاق اڑایا جو ان کے رسولوں علیہ السلام نے ان کے سامنے پیش کیا اور عذاب کی وعیدوں کا بھی جس سے انہیں خبردار کیا گیا۔ بالآخر انہیں اپنے کرتوتوں کی سزامل کر رہی۔
