- اِلَّامگر
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
- یَصِلُوْنَجو پناہ لیں
- اِلٰیکی طرف
- قَوْمٍایسی ایک قوم
- بَیْنَكُمْتمہارے درمیان
- وَبَیْنَهُمْاور ان کے درمیان
- مِّیْثَاقٌپختہ عہد ہے
- اَوْیا
- جَآءُوْكُمْآئیں وہ تمہارے پاس
- حَصِرَتْتنگ ہوئے
- صُدُوْرُهُمْسینے ان کے
- اَنْکہ
- یُّقَاتِلُوْكُمْوہ جنگ کریں تم سے
- اَوْیا
- یُقَاتِلُوْاوہ جنگ کریں تم سے
- قَوْمَهُمْ ؕاپنی قوم سے
- وَلَوْاور اگر
- شَآءَچاہتا
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- لَسَلَّطَهُمْالبتہ مسلط کردیتا ان کو
- عَلَیْكُمْتم پر
- فَلَقٰتَلُوْكُمْ ۚپس البتہ وہ لڑتے تم سے
- فَاِنِپھر وہ اگر
- اعْتَزَلُوْكُمْایک طرف ہوجائیں تم سے
- فَلَمْپھر نہ
- یُقَاتِلُوْكُمْوہ جنگ کریں تم سے
- وَاَلْقَوْااور وہ ڈالیں
- اِلَیْكُمُتمہاری طرف
- السَّلَمَ ۙسلام
- فَمَاتو نہیں
- جَعَلَبنایا
- اللّٰهُاللہ نے
- لَكُمْتمہارے لئیے
- عَلَیْهِمْان پر
- سَبِیْلًاکوئی راستہ

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
البتہ وہ منافق اس حکم سے مستشنٰی ہیں جو کسی ایسی قوم سے جا ملیں جس کے ساتھ تمہارا معاہدہ ہے۔1 اسی طرح وہ منافق بھی مستشنٰی ہیں جو تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں اور لڑائی سے دل برداشتہ ہیں، نہ تم سے لڑنا چاہتے ہیں نہ اپنی قوم سے۔ اللہ چاہتا تو ان کو تم پر مسلّط کر دیتا اور وہ بھی تم سے لڑتے۔ لہٰذا اگر وہ تم سے کنارہ کش ہو جائیں اور لڑنے سے باز رہیں اور تمہاری طرف صلح و آشتی کا ہاتھ بڑھائیں تو اللہ نے تمہارے لیے ان پر دست درازی کی کوئی سبیل نہیں رکھی ہے

یہ استثناء اِس حکم سے نہیں ہے کہ”انہیں دوست اور مددگار نہ بنایا جائے“، بلکہ اِس حکم سے ہے کہ ”انہیں پکڑا اور مارا جائے“۔ مطلب یہ ہے کہ اگر یہ واجب القتل منافق کسی ایسی کافر قوم کے حدود میں جا پناہ لیں جس کے ساتھ اسلامی حکومت کا معاہدہ ہو چکا ہو، تو اس کے علاقے میں ان کا تعاقب نہیں کیا جائے گا اور نہ یہی جائز ہوگا کہ دارالاسلام کا کوئی مسلمان غیر جانبدار ملک میں کسی واجب القتل منافق کو پائے اور اسے مار ڈالے۔ احترام دراصل منافق کے خون کا نہیں بلکہ معاہدے کا ہے۔
