  1. اَيْنَمَاجہاں کہیں
  2. تَكُوْنُوْاتم ہوگے
  3. یُدْرِكْكُّمُپالے گی تم کو
  4. الْمَوْتُموت
  5. وَلَوْاور اگرچہ
  6. كُنْتُمْہو تم
  7. فِیْمیں
  8. بُرُوْجٍقلعوں
  9. مُّشَیَّدَةٍ ؕپختہ۔ مضبوط
  10. وَاِنْاور اگر
  11. تُصِبْهُمْپہنچتی ہے انکو
  12. حَسَنَةٌکوئی بھلائی
  13. یَّقُوْلُوْاوہ کہتے ہیں
  14. هٰذِهٖیہ
  15. مِنْسے ہے
  16. عِنْدِطرف
  17. اللّٰهِ ۚاللہ کی
  18. وَاِنْاور اگر
  19. تُصِبْهُمْپہنچتی ہے ان کو
  20. سَیِّئَةٌکوئی مصیبت
  21. یَّقُوْلُوْاوہ کہتے ہیں
  22. هٰذِهٖیہ
  23. مِنْسے
  24. عِنْدِكَ ؕتیری طرف سے
  25. قُلْکہہ دیجئیے
  26. كُلٌّسب کا سب
  27. مِّنْسے
  28. عِنْدِطرف سے ہے
  29. اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ کی
  30. فَمَالِتو کیا ہے واسطے
  31. هٰۤؤُلَآءِاس
  32. الْقَوْمِقوم کے
  33. لَانہیں
  34. یَكَادُوْنَقریب ہوئے
  35. یَفْقَهُوْنَکہ سمجھیں
  36. حَدِیْثًابات کوئی

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

رہی موت، تو جہاں بھی تم ہو وہ بہرحال تمہیں آکر رہے گی خواہ تم کیسی ہی مضبُوط عمارتوں میں ہو۔اگر انہیں کوئی فائدہ پہنچتا ہے تو کہتے ہیں یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے، اور اگر کوئی نقصان پہنچتا ہے تو کہتے ہیں یہ تمہاری بدولت ہے۔1 کہو، سب کچھ اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے۔ آخر ان لوگوں کو کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ کوئی بات ان کی سمجھ میں نہیں آتی

  1. یعنی جب فتح و ظفر اور کامیابی و سُر خروئی نصیب ہو تی ہے تو اسے اللہ فضل قرار دیتے ہیں اور بھُول جاتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے ان پر یہ فضل نبی ہی کے ذریعہ سے فرمایا ہے ۔ مگر جب خود اپنی غلطیوں اور کمزوریوں کے سبب سے کہیں شکست ہوتی ہے اور بڑھتے ہوئے قدم پیچھے پڑنے لگتے ہیں تو سارا الزام نبی کے سر تھوپتے ہیں اور خود بَری الذّمّہ  ہونا چاہتے ہیں۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

تم جہاں کہیں بھی ہو گے موت تم کو پالے گی خواہ تم بڑے مضبوط قلعوں کے اندر ہی ہو اور اگر انہیں کوئی بھلائی پہنچتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے اور اگر انہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچ جائے تو کہتے ہیں کہ (اے محمد ﷺ یہ آپ کی وجہ سے ہے کہہ دیجیے سب کچھ اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے تو ان لوگوں کو کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ یہ کوئی بات بھی نہیں سمجھتے !

Commentary

آیت 78 اَیْنَ مَا تَکُوْنُوْا یُدْرِکْکُّمُ الْمَوْتُ ظاہر ہے قتال سے جی چرانے کا اصل سبب موت کا خوف تھا۔ چناچہ ان کے دلوں کے اندر جو خوف تھا اسے ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے۔ ان پر واضح کیا جا رہا ہے کہ موت سے کوئی مفر نہیں ‘ تم جہاں کہیں بھی ہو گے موت تمہیں پالے گی۔وَلَوْ کُنْتُمْ فِیْ بُرُوْجٍ مُّشَیَّدَۃٍ ط۔اگرچہ تم بہت مضبوط fortified قلعوں کے اندر اپنے آپ کو محصور کرلو۔ پھر بھی موت سے نہیں بچ ‘ سکتے۔وَاِنْ تُصِبْہُمْ حَسَنَۃٌ یَّقُوْلُوْا ہٰذِہِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰہِ ج۔منافقین کا ایک طرز عمل یہ بھی تھا کہ اگر مسلمانوں کو کوئی کامیابی حاصل ہوجاتی ‘ فتح نصیب ہوجاتی ‘ کوئی اور بھلائی پہنچ جاتی ‘ حضور ﷺ کی تدبیر کے اچھے نتائج نکل آتے تو اسے حضور ﷺ کی طرف منسوب نہیں کرتے تھے ‘ بلکہ کہتے تھے کہ یہ اللہ کا فضل و کرم ہوا ہے ‘ یہ سب اللہ کی طرف سے ہے۔وَاِنْ تُصِبْہُمْ سَیِّءَۃٌ یَّقُوْلُوْا ہٰذِہٖ مِنْ عِنْدِکَ ط آپ ﷺ نے یہ غلط اقدام کیا تو اس کے نتیجے میں ہم پر یہ مصیبت آگئی۔ یہ آپ کا فیصلہ تھا کہ کھلے میدان میں جا کر جنگ کریں گے ‘ ہم نے تو آپ کو مشورہ دیا تھا کہ مدینے کے اندر محصور ہو کر جنگ کریں۔قُلْ کُلٌّ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰہِ ط ۔یہ سب چیزیں ‘ خیر ہو ‘ شر ہو ‘ تکلیف ہو ‘ آسانی ہو ‘ مشکل ہو ‘ جو بھی صورتیں ہیں سب اللہ کی طرف سے ہیں۔
