Surah 4, ayah 74

  1. فَلْیُقَاتِلْپس چاہیے کہ جنگ کریں
  2. فِیْمیں
  3. سَبِیْلِراستے
  4. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  5. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  6. یَشْرُوْنَجو بیچتے ہیں
  7. الْحَیٰوةَزندگی
  8. الدُّنْیَادنیا کی
  9. بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ؕآخرت کے بدلے میں
  10. وَمَنْاور جو کوئی
  11. یُّقَاتِلْجنگ کرے گا
  12. فِیْمیں
  13. سَبِیْلِرستے میں
  14. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  15. فَیُقْتَلْپھر قتل کیا جائے
  16. اَوْیا
  17. یَغْلِبْغالب آجائے
  18. فَسَوْفَپس عنقریب
  19. نُؤْتِیْهِہم دیں گے اس کو
  20. اَجْرًااجر
  21. عَظِیْمًابڑا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

(ایسے لوگوں کو معلوم ہوکہ) اللہ کی راہ میں لڑنا چاہیے اُن لوگوں کو جو آخرت کے بدلے دُنیا کی زندگی کو فروخت کردیں،1 پھر جو اللہ کی راہ میں لڑے گا اور مارا جائے گا یا غالب رہے گا اُسے ضرور ہم اجرِ عظیم عطا کریں گے

  1. یعنی اللہ کی راہ میں لڑنا دنیا طلب لوگوں کا کام ہے ہی نہیں۔ یہ تو ایسے لوگوں کا کام ہے جن کے پیشِ نظر  صرف اللہ کی خوشنودی ہو، جو اللہ اور آخرت پر کام اعتماد رکھتے ہوں، اور دنیا میں اپنی کامیابی و خوشحالی کے سارے امکانات اور اپنے ہر قسم کے دُنیوی مفاد اس اُمید پر قربان کرنے کے لیے تیار ہوجائیں کہ ان کا رب ان سے راضی ہو گا اور اس دنیا میں نہیں تو آخرت میں بہرحال ان کی قربانیاں ضائع نہ ہوں گی۔ رہے وہ لوگ جن کی نگاہ میں اصل اہمیت اپنے دُنیوی مفاد ہی کی ہو، تو درحقیقت یہ راستہ ان کے لیے نہیں ہے۔
