Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
اے نبی ! تم نے دیکھا نہیں اُن لوگوں کو جو دعوٰی تو کرتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے ہیں اُس کتاب پر جو تمہاری طرف نازل کی گئی ہے اور ان کتابوں پر جو تم سے پہلے نازل کی گئی تھیں مگر چاہتے یہ ہیں کہ اپنے معاملات کا فیصلہ کرانے کے لیے طاغوت کی طرف رُجوع کریں، حالانکہ انہیں طاغوت سے کفر کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا تھا۔۔1۔۔شیطان انہیں بھٹکا کر راہِ راست سے بہت دُور لے جانا چاہتا ہے

یہاں صریح طور پر ”طاغوت“ سے مراد وہ حاکم ہے جو قانونِ الہٰی کے سوا کسی دُوسرے قانون کے مطابق فیصلہ کرتا ہو، اور وہ نظامِ عدالت ہے جو نہ تو اللہ کے اقتدارِ اعلیٰ کا مطیع ہو اور نہ اللہ کی کتاب کو آخرت سند مانتا ہو۔ لہٰذا یہ آیت اس معنیٰ میں بالکل صاف ہے کہ جو عدالت”طاغوت“ کی حیثیت رکھتی ہو اس کے پاس اپنے معاملات فیصلہ کے لیے لے جانا ایمان کے منافی ہے اور خدا اور اس کی کتاب پر ایمان لانے کا لازمی اقتضا یہ ہے کہ آدمی ایسی عدالت کو جائز عدالت تسلیم کرنے سے انکار کر دے۔ قرآن کی رُو سے اللہ پر ایمان اور طاغوت سے کفر، دونوں لازم و ملزوم ہیں، اور خدا اور طاغوت دونوں کے آگے بیک وقت جُھکنا عین منافقت ہے۔
