- یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
- الَّذِیْنَلوگو
- اُوْتُواجو دیے گئے ہو
- الْكِتٰبَکتاب
- اٰمِنُوْاایمان لاؤ
- بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
- نَزَّلْنَااتاری ہم نے
- مُصَدِّقًاتصدیق کرنے والی ہے
- لِّمَاواسطے اس کے جو
- مَعَكُمْتمہارے پاس ہے
- مِّنْاس سے
- قَبْلِپہلے
- اَنْکہ
- نَّطْمِسَہم بگاڑ دیں
- وُجُوْهًاچہروں کو
- فَنَرُدَّهَاپھر ہم پھیر دیں ان کو
- عَلٰۤیپر
- اَدْبَارِهَاۤان کی پیٹھوں
- اَوْیا
- نَلْعَنَهُمْہم لعنت کریں ان پر
- كَمَاجیسا کہ
- لَعَنَّاۤلعنت کی ہم نے
- اَصْحٰبَوالوں پر
- السَّبْتِ ؕہفتے
- وَكَانَاور ہے
- اَمْرُحکم
- اللّٰهِاللہ کا
- مَفْعُوْلًاکیا ہوا۔ طے شدہ

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اے وہ لوگو جن کو کتاب دی گئی تھی ! ایمان لاؤ اس پر جو ہم نے نازل کیا ہے جو اس کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے آیا ہے جو تمہارے پاس ہے اس سے قبل کہ ہم چہروں کو مٹا ڈالیں پھر ان کو ان کی پیٹھوں کی طرف موڑ دیں یا ہم ان پر بھی اسی طرح لعنت کردیں جس طرح ہم نے اصحاب سبت پر لعنت کی تھی اور اللہ کا حکم تو نافذ ہو کر رہنا ہے

Commentary
آیت 47 یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْکِتٰبَ اٰمِنُوْا بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا یہود کی شرارتوں پر لعنت و ملامت کے ساتھ ہی انہیں قرآن کریم پر ایمان کی دعوت بھی دی جا رہی ہے۔مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَکُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوْہًا فَنَرُدَّہَا عَلآی اَدْبَارِہَآ یعنی چہرے اس طرح مسخ کردیے جائیں کہ بالکل سپاٹ ہوجائیں ‘ ان پر کوئی نشان باقی نہ رہے اور پھر انہیں پشت کی طرف موڑ دیا جائے کہ چہرہ پیچھے اور گدی سامنے۔ُ ّ اَوْ نَلْعَنَہُمْ کَمَا لَعَنَّآ اَصْحٰبَ السَّبْتِ ط اصحاب سبت کے واقعے کی تفصیل سورة الاعراف میں آئے گی ‘ لیکن اجمالاً یہ واقعہ سورة البقرۃ میں آچکا ہے
