Surah 36, ayah 8

  1. اِنَّابیشک ہم نے
  2. جَعَلْنَاڈال دیے ہم نے
  3. فِیْۤمیں
  4. اَعْنَاقِهِمْان کی گردنوں میں
  5. اَغْلٰلًاطوق
  6. فَهِیَتو وہ
  7. اِلَیتک
  8. الْاَذْقَانِٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں
  9. فَهُمْتو وہ
  10. مُّقْمَحُوْنَسر اٹھائے ہوئے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہم نے اُن کی گردنوں میں طَوق ڈال دیے ہیں جن سے وہ ٹھوڑیوں تک جکڑے گئے ہیں، اس لیے وہ سر اُٹھا ئے کھڑے ہیں۔1

  1.  اس آیت میں ’’ طوق ‘‘ سے مراد ان کی اپنی ہٹ دھرمی ہے جو ان کے لیے قبولِ حق میں مانع ہو رہی تھی۔ ’’ ٹھوڑیوں تک جکڑے جانے ‘‘ اور سر اُٹھائے کھڑے ہونے ‘‘ سے مراد وہ گردن کی اکڑ ہے جو تکبر اور نخوت کا نتیجہ ہوتی ہے ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ یہ فرما رہا ہے کہ ہم نے ان  کی ضد اور ہٹ دھرمی کو ان کی گردن کا طوق بنا دیا ہے ، اور جس کبر و نخوت میں یہ مبتلا ہیں اس کی وجہ سے ان کی گردنیں اس طرح اکڑ گئی ہیں کہ اب خواہ کوئی روشن حقیقت بھی ان کے سامنے آ جائے ، یہ اس کی طرف التفات کر کے نہ دیں گے ۔

ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈال دیے ہیں اور وہ ان کی ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں پس ان کے سر اونچے اٹھے رہ گئے ہیں

Commentary

آیت 8 { اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِیْٓ اَعْنَاقِہِمْ اَغْلٰلاً فَہِیَ اِلَی الْاَذْقَانِ فَہُمْ مُّقْمَحُوْنَ } ”ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈال دیے ہیں اور وہ ان کی ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں ‘ پس ان کے سر اونچے اٹھے رہ گئے ہیں۔“ یعنی ان کی کیفیت اس شخص کی سی ہے جس کی گردن میں طوق پڑا ہو اور وہ طوق اس کی ٹھوڑی کے نیچے جاپھنسا ہو۔ ایسے شخص کے چہرے کا رخ مستقل طور پر اوپر کی طرف ہوجاتا ہے اور وہ اپنے سامنے کی چیزوں کو نہیں دیکھ سکتا۔ مطلب یہ کہ تعصب اور ہٹ دھرمی کی وجہ سے یہ لوگ واضح حقائق کو بھی دیکھنے اور سمجھنے سے قاصر ہیں۔
