Surah 36, ayah 7

  1. لَقَدْالبتہ تحقیق

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِن میں سے اکثر لوگ فیصلہٴ عذاب کے مستحق ہو چکے ہیں، اسی لیے وہ ایمان نہیں لاتے۔1

  1.  یہ ان لوگوں کو ذکر ہے جو  نبی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی دعوت کے مقابلے میں ضد اور ہٹ دھرمی سے کام لے رہے تھے اور جنہوں نے طے کریا تا کہ آپ کی بات بہر حال مان کر نہیں دینی ہے ۔ ان کے متعلق فرمایا گیا ہے کہ ’’ یہ لوگ فیصلۂ عذاب کے مستحق ہو چکے ہیں اس لیے یہ ایمان نہیں لاتے ‘‘ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ جو لوگ نصیحت پر کان نہیں دھرتے اور خدا کی طرف سے پیغمبروں کے ذریعہ اتمامِ حجت ہو جانے پر بھی انکار اور حق دشمنی کی روش ہی اختیار کیے چلے جاتے ہیں ان کی اپنی شامتِ اعمال مسلط کر دی جاتی ہے اور پھر انہیں توفیق ایمان نصیب نہیں ہوتے ۔ اسی مضمون کو آگے چل کر اس فقرے میں کھول دیا گیا ہے کہ ’’ تم تو اسی شخص کو خبردار کر  سکتے ہو جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور بے دیکھے خداۓ  رحمان سے ڈرے ۔‘‘

ان کی اکثریت پر ہمارا قول (قانونِ عذاب) سچ ثابت ہوچکا ہے تو اب وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے

Commentary

آیت 7 { لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰٓی اَکْثَرِہِمْ فَہُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ } ”ان کی اکثریت پر ہمارا قول قانونِ عذاب سچ ثابت ہوچکا ہے تو اب وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے۔“ گویا حضور ﷺ کی دعوت کا مسلسل انکار کر کے یہ لوگ قانونِ الٰہی کی عذاب سے متعلق ”شق“ کی زد میں آچکے ہیں۔
