  1. قُلْکہہ دیجئے
  2. لَّكُمْتمہارے لیے
  3. مِّیْعَادُمیعاد ہے
  4. یَوْمٍایک دن کی۔ مقرہ وقت ہے ایک دن کا
  5. لَّانہیں
  6. تَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَتم تاخیر کرسکتے
  7. عَنْهُاس سے
  8. سَاعَةًایک گھڑی
  9. وَّلَااور نہ
  10. تَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَتم آگے بڑھ سکتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کہو تمہارے لیے ایک ایسے دن کی میعاد مقرر ہے جس کے آنے میں نہ ایک گھڑی بھر کی تاخیر تم کر سکتے ہو اور نہ ایک گھڑی بھر پہلے اُسے لاسکتے ہو۔ 1

  1.  دوسرے الفاظ میں اس جواب کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے فیصلے تمہاری خواہشات کے تابع نہیں ہیں کہ کسی کام کے لیے جو وقت تم مقرر کرو اسی وقت پر وہ اس کام کو کرنے کا پابند ہو۔ اپنے معاملات کو وہ اپنے ہی صوابدید کے مطابق انجام دیتا ہے۔ تم اسے کیا سمجھ سکتے ہو کہ اللہ کی اسکیم میں نوعِ انسانی کو کب تک اس دنیا کے اندر کام کرنے کا موقع ملنا ہے، کتنے اشخاص اور کتنی قوموں کی کس کس طرح آزمائش ہونی ہے، اور کونسا وقت اللہ ہی کی اسکیم میں مقرر ہے اسی وقت پر یہ کام ہو گا۔ نہ تمہارے تقاضوں سے وہ وقت ایک سکنڈ پہلے آئے گا اور نہ تمہاری التجاؤں سے وہ ایک سکنڈ کے لیے ٹل سکے گا۔
