  1. فَیَوْمَىِٕذٍتو اس دن
  2. لَّانہ
  3. یَنْفَعُنفع دے گی
  4. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
  5. ظَلَمُوْاجنہوں نے ظلم کیا
  6. مَعْذِرَتُهُمْان کی معذرت
  7. وَلَااور نہ
  8. هُمْوہ
  9. یُسْتَعْتَبُوْنَتوبہ قبول کیے جائیں گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پس وہ دن ہوگا جس میں ظالموں کو ان کی معذرت کوئی نفع نہ دے گی اور نہ اُن سے معافی مانگنے کے لیے کہا جائے گا۔1

  1. دوسرا ترجمہ یہ بھی  ہو سکتا ہے ”نہ ان سے یہ چاہا جائے گا کہ اپنے ربّ کو راضی کرو،“ اس لیے کہ توبہ اور ایمان اور عملِ صالح کی طرف رجوع کرنے کے سارے مواقع کو وہ کھو چکے ہوں گے اور امتحان کا وقت ختم ہو کر فیصلے کی گھڑی آچکی ہو گی۔

تو آج کے دن کچھ فائدہ نہیں پہنچائے گی ظالم لوگوں کو ان کی معذرت اور نہ ہی انہیں توبہ کا موقع دیا جائے گا

Commentary

آیت 57 فَیَوْمَءِذٍ لَّا یَنْفَعُ الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مَعْذِرَتُہُمْ ”جن لوگوں نے دنیا میں گناہ کی زندگی بسر کی اور ساری عمر ظلم و زیادتی کا رویہ اپنائے رکھا ‘ قیامت کے دن ان کا معذرت کرنا ‘ بہانے بنانا اور معافیاں مانگنا کام نہیں آئے گا۔وَلَا ہُمْ یُسْتَعْتَبُوْنَ ”دنیا میں ہر شخص کے لیے موت کے آثار ظاہر ہونے تک مَا لَمْ یُغَرْ غِرْ توبہ کا دروازہ کھلا رہتا ہے اور جو لوگ اپنی دنیوی زندگی میں اس موقع سے فائدہ نہ اٹھائیں ‘ قیامت کے دن انہیں یہ موقع فراہم نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
