Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور ہم نے تُم سے پہلے رسُولوں کو اُن کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا اور وہ اُن کے پاس روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے،1 پھر جنہوں نے جُرم کیا2 اُن سے ہم نے انتقام لیا اور ہم پر یہ حق تھا کہ ہم مومنوں کی مدد کریں

  1. یعنی ایک قسم کی نشانیاں تو وہ ہیں جو کائنات ِ فطرت میں ہر طرف پھیلی ہوئی ہیں، جن سے انسان کو اپنی زندگی میں ہر آن سابقہ پیش آتا ہے ، جن میں سے ایک ہواؤں کی گردش کا یہ نظام ہے جس کا اوپر کی آیت میں ذکر کیا گیا ہے ۔ اور دوسری قسم کی نشانیاں وہ ہیں جو انبیاء علیہم السلام معجزات کی صورت میں، کلامِ الہٰی کی صورت میں، اپنی غیر معمولی پاکیزہ سیرت کی شکل میں ، اور انسانی معاشرے پر اپنی حیات بخش تاثیرات کی شکل میں لے کر آئے۔ یہ دونوں قسم کی نشانیاں ایک ہی حقیقت کی نشان دہی کرتی ہیں، اور  وہ یہ ہے کہ جس توحید کی تعلیم انبیاء دے رہے ہیں وہی بر حق ہے۔ ان میں سے ہر نشانی دوسری کی مؤیِّد ہے۔ کائنات کی نشانیاں انبیاء کے بیان کی صداقت پر شہادت دیتی ہیں اور انبیاء کی لائی ہوئی نشانیاں اُس حقیقت کو کھولتی ہیں جس کی طرف کائنات کی نشانیاں اشارے کر رہی ہیں۔

اور (اے نبی ﷺ !) آپ سے پہلے بھی ہم نے رسول ؑ بھیجے ان کی اپنی اپنی قوم کی طرف تو وہ ان کی طرف لے کر آئے واضح نشانیاں پھر ہم نے انتقام لیا (ان میں سے) ان لوگوں سے جو مجرم تھے اور اہل ایمان کی مدد کرنا ہمارے ذمہ تھا

Commentary

وَکَانَ حَقًّا عَلَیْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ”مثلاً حضرت نوح علیہ السلام اور آپ علیہ السلام کے ساتھیوں کو سیلاب کی آفت سے بچالیا گیا۔ حضرت ہود علیہ السلام اور آپ علیہ السلام کے ساتھی بھی تباہی سے محفوظ رہے اور اسی طرح حضرت صالح علیہ السلام اور آپ علیہ السلام پر ایمان لانے والے لوگ بھی اللہ کی مدد سے عذاب کی زد میں آنے سے بچ گئے۔
