قَالَکہا
رَبِّاے میرے رب
اَنّٰیکیسے۔ کیونکر
یَكُوْنُہوسکتا ہے
لِیْمیرے لیے
غُلٰمٌکوئی لڑکا
وَّقَدْحالانکہ تحقیق
بَلَغَنِیَپہنچا مجھ کو
الْكِبَرُبڑھاپا
وَامْرَاَتِیْاور میری بیوی
عَاقِرٌ ؕبانجھ ہے
قَالَکہا
كَذٰلِكَاس طرح
اللّٰهُاللہ تعالیٰ
یَفْعَلُکرتا ہے
مَاجو
یَشَآءُوہ چاہتا ہے
۟

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

زکریّا نے کہا”پروردگار!میرے ہاں لڑکا کہاں سے ہو گا، میں تو بہت بوڑھا ہو چکا ہوں اور میری بیوی بانجھ ہے“۔ جواب ملا”ایسا ہی ہوگا،¹ اللہ جو چاہتا ہےکرتا ہے“
