قَالَکہا
رَبِّاے میرے رب
اَنّٰیکیسے۔ کیونکر
یَكُوْنُہوسکتا ہے
لِیْمیرے لیے
غُلٰمٌکوئی لڑکا
وَّقَدْحالانکہ تحقیق
بَلَغَنِیَپہنچا مجھ کو
الْكِبَرُبڑھاپا
وَامْرَاَتِیْاور میری بیوی
عَاقِرٌ ؕبانجھ ہے
قَالَکہا
كَذٰلِكَاس طرح
اللّٰهُاللہ تعالیٰ
یَفْعَلُکرتا ہے
مَاجو
یَشَآءُوہ چاہتا ہے
۟

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

کہا : پروردگار ! میرے ہاں لڑکا کیسے ہوجائے گا ؟ جبکہ میں انتہائی بوڑھا ہوچکا ہوں اور میری بیوی بانجھ رہی ہے (اللہ نے) فرمایا : اسی طرح اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے

Commentary

آیت 40 قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَکُوْنُ لِیْ غُلٰمٌ زکریا علیہ السلام نے ابھی خود دعا کر رہے تھے ‘ لیکن اللہ کی طرف سے بیٹے کی بشارت ملنے پر غالباً اس کی توثیق اور re-assurance چاہ رہے ہیں کہ میرے ہاں کیسے بیٹا ہوجائے گا ؟وَّقَدْ بَلَغَنِیَ الْکِبَرُ وَامْرَاَتِیْ عَاقِرٌ ط قَالَ کَذٰلِکَ اللّٰہُ یَفْعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ اسے اسباب کی احتیاج نہیں ہے۔ اسباب اس کے محتاج ہیں ‘ اللہ اسباب کا محتاج نہیں ہے۔
