- وَلَىِٕنْاور البتہ اگر
- سَاَلْتَهُمْپوچھو تم ان سے

اور اگر تم ان سے پوچھو کس نے آسمان سے پانی برسایا اور اس کے ذریعہ سےمردہ پڑی ہوئی زمین کو جِلا اُٹھایا تو وہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ نے۔ کہو، الحمدللہ،1 مگر اکثر لوگ سمجھتے نہیں ہیں

اس مقام پر اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہ کا لفظ دو معنی دے رہا ہے۔ ایک یہ کہ جب یہ سارے کام اللہ کے ہیں تو پھر حمد کا مستحق بھی صرف وہی ہے ، دوسروں کو حمد کا استحقاق کہاں سے پہنچ گیا؟ دوسرے یہ کہ خدا کا شکر ہے ، اس بات کا اعتراف تم خود بھی کرتے ہو۔
