- وَمَااور نہ
- كُنْتَتھا تو
- بِجَانِبِکنارے
- الطُّوْرِطور کے
- اِذْجب
- نَادَیْنَاپکارا ہم نے
- وَلٰكِنْلیکن
- رَّحْمَةًیہ رحمت ہے

- مَّاۤنہیں

Bayan-ul-Quran
اور نہ آپ ﷺ (اس وقت) طور کے پاس موجود تھے جب ہم نے (موسیٰ ؑ کو) پکارا تھا بلکہ یہ سب رحمت ہے آپ ﷺ کے رب کی طرف سے تاکہ آپ ﷺ اس قوم کو خبردار کریں جس کی طرف آپ ﷺ سے پہلے کوئی خبردار کرنے والا نہیں آیا شاید کہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں

Commentary
وَلٰکِنْ رَّحْمَۃً مِّنْ رَّبِّکَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ اَتٰٹہُمْ مِّنْ نَّذِیْرٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِکَ ” قریش مکہّ حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام کی اولاد میں سے تھے اور حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام سے لے کر محمد رسول اللہ ﷺ کی بعثت تک کم و بیش تین ہزار برس کا عرصہ بیت چکا تھا ‘ جس میں اس قوم کی طرف نہ کوئی نبی اور رسول آیا اور نہ ہی کوئی کتاب بھیجی گئی۔ اس کے برعکس حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے دوسرے بیٹے حضرت اسحاق علیہ السلام کی نسل بنی اسرائیل میں نبوت کا سلسلہ لگاتار چلتا رہا اور انہیں زبور ‘ تورات اور متعدد صحائف بھی عطا کیے گئے۔ بلکہ بنی اسرائیل میں چودہ سو برس کا ایک عرصہ ایسا بھی گزرا جس کے دوران ان میں ایک لمحے کے لیے بھی نبوت کا وقفہ نہیں آیا۔ بہرحال ایک طویل عرصے کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ نے بنو اسماعیل علیہ السلام کو خبردار کرنے کے لیے ان کی طرف حضرت محمد ﷺ کو بطور رسول بھیجنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
