Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ واقعہ ہے کہ یہ قرآن بنی اسرائیل کو اکثراُن باتوں کی حقیقت بتاتا ہے جن میں وہ اختلاف رکھتے ہیں1

  1. اس فقرے کا تعلق مضمون سابق سے بھی ہے اور مضمون ما بعد سے بھی۔ مضمون سابق سے اس کا تعلق یہ ہے کہ اسی عالم الغیب خدا کے علم کا ایک کرشمہ یہ ہے کہ اُمّی کی زبان سے اس قرآن میں اُن واقعات کی حقیقت کھولی جا رہی ہے جو بنی اسرائیل کی تاریخ میں گزرے ہیں، حالانکہ خود علمائے بنی اسرائیل کے درمیان ان کی اپنی تاریخ کے ان واقعات میں اختلاف ہے (اس  کے نظائر اسی سورہ نمل کے ابتدائی رکوعوں میں گزر چکے ہیں جیسا کہ ہم نے اپنے حواشی میں واضح کیا ہے)۔اور مضمونِ ما بعد سے اس کا تعلق یہ ہے کہ جس طرح اللہ تعالیٰ نے اُن اختلافات کا فیصلہ فرمایا ہے اسی طرح وہ اُس اختلاف کا بھی فیصلہ کر دے گا  جو محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ان کے مخالفین کے درمیان برپا ہے۔ وہ کھول کر رکھ دے گا کہ دونوں میں سے حق پر کون ہے اور باطل پر کون۔ چنانچہ اِن آیات کے نزول پر چند ہی سال گزرے تھے کہ فیصلہ ساری دنیا کے سامنے آگیا۔ اُسی عرب  کی سر زمین میں ، اور اسی قبیلہ قریش میں ایک متنفس بھی ایسا نہ رہا جو اس بات کا قائل نہ ہو گیا ہو کہ حق پر محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تھے نہ کہ ابو جہل اور ابو لہب۔ ان لوگوں کو اپنی اولاد تک مان گئی کہ ان کے باپ غلطی پر تھے۔

یقیناً یہ قرآن کھول کر بیان کر رہا ہے بنی اسرائیل پر اکثر وہ باتیں جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں

آیت 76 اِنَّ ہٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ یَقُصُّ عَلٰی بَنِیْٓ اِسْرَآءِ یْلَ اَکْثَرَ الَّذِیْ ہُمْ فِیْہِ یَخْتَلِفُوْنَ ”تورات کا نزول قرآن سے دو ہزار سال پہلے ہوا تھا۔ اصل کتاب مدتوں پہلے گم ہوچکی تھی ‘ پھر ایک عرصے بعد اسے یادداشتوں کی مدد سے دوبارہ مرتب کیا گیا اور بنی اسرائیل نے اپنی من پسند روایات کے ذریعے سے بہت سی غلط باتیں اللہ سے منسوب کردیں۔ جیسے اقبال نے کہا ہے : ع ”یہ امتّ روایات میں کھو گئی !“ بہر حال قرآن نے ہرچیز کو کھول کر بیان کردیا اور حقیقت ہر پہلو سے منکشف ہوگئی۔
