  1. قَالُوْاانہوں نے کہا
  2. تَقَاسَمُوْاقسم کھاؤ
  3. بِاللّٰهِاللہ کی
  4. لَنُبَیِّتَنَّهٗالبتہ ہم ضرور رات کو حملہ کریں گے اس پر
  5. وَاَهْلَهٗاور اس کے گھر والوں پر
  6. ثُمَّپھر
  7. لَنَقُوْلَنَّالبتہ ہم ضرور کہیں گے
  8. لِوَلِیِّهٖاس کے سرپرست سے
  9. مَانہیں
  10. شَهِدْنَادیکھا ہم نے۔ نہیں موجود تھے ہم
  11. مَهْلِكَہلاکت کے وقت۔ جگہ
  12. اَهْلِهٖاس کے خاندان کی
  13. وَاِنَّااور بیشک ہم
  14. لَصٰدِقُوْنَالبتہ سچے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

انہوں نے آپس میں کہا”خدا کی قسم کھا کر عہد کر لو کہ ہم صالحؑ اور اس کے گھر والوں پر شبخون ماریں گے اور پھر اس کے ولی سے کہہ دیں گے1 کہ ہم اس کے خاندان کی ہلاکت کے موقع پر موجود نہ تھے، ہم بالکل سچ کہتے ہیں۔“2

  1. یعنی حضرت صالحؑ کو قبیلہ کے سردار سے، جس کو قدیم قبائلی رسموں رواج کے مطابق ان کے خون کے دعوے کاحق پہنچتا تھا۔ یہ وہی پوزیشن تھی جو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں آپ کے چچا ابو طالب کو حاصل تھی۔ کفار ِ قریش بھی اسی اندیشے سے ہاتھ روکتے تھے کہ  اگر وہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قتل کر دیں گے تو بنی ہاشم کے سردار ابو طالب اپنے قبیلے کی طرف سے خون کا دعویٰ لے کر اٹھیں گے۔

  2. یہ بعینہٖ اسی نوعیت کی سازش تھی جیسی مکہ کے قبائلی سردار نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خلاف سوچتے رہتے تھے ،اور بالآخر یہی سازش انہوں نے حجرت کے موقع پر حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قتل کرنے کےلیے کی۔ یعنی یہ کہ سب قبیلوں کے لوگ مل کر آپ پر حملہ کریں تا کہ بنی ہاشم کسی ایک قبیلے کو ملزم نہ ٹھرا سکے اور سب قبیلوں سے بیک وقت لڑنا ان کے لیے ممکن نہ ہو۔
