یعنی اپنا معیار زندگی بلند کرنے میں تو تم اس قدر غلو کر گئے ہو کہ رہنے کے لیے تم کو مکان نہیں محل اور قصر درکار ہیں ، اور ان سے بھی جب تمہاری تسکین نہیں ہوتی تو بلا ضرورت عالی شان عمارتیں بنا ڈالتے ہو جن کا کوئی مصرف اظہار وقت و ثروت کے سوا نہیں ہے۔ لیکن تمہارا معیار انسانیت اتنا گرا ہوا ہے کہ کمزوروں کے لیے تمہارے دلوں میں کوئی رحم نہیں ، غریبوں کے لیے تمہاری سر زمین کوئی انصاف نہیں ، گرد و پیش کی ضعیف قومیں ہوں یا خود اپنے ملک کے پست طبقات، سب تمہارے جبر اور ظلم کی چکی میں پس رہے ہیں اور کوئی تمہاری چیرہ دستیوں سے بچا نہیں رہ گیا ہے۔
