اس کے دو مفہوم ہیں۔ ایک یہ کہ میں اپنی طرف سے کوئی بات بنا کر یا کم و بیش کر کے بیان نہیں کرتا بلکہ جو کچھ خدا کی طرف سے مجھ پر نازل ہوتا ہے وہی بے کم و کاست تم تک پہنچا دیتا ہوں۔ اور دوسرا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ میں ایک ایسا رسول ہوں جسے تم پہلے سے ایک امین اور راستباز آدمی کی حیثیت سے جانتے ہو۔ جب میں خلق کے معاملے میں خیانت کرنے والا نہیں ہوں تو خدا کے معاملے میں کیسے خیانت کر سکتا ہوں ،۔ لہٰذا تمہیں باور کرنا چاہیے کہ جو کچھ میں خدا کی طرف سے پیش کر رہا ہوں اس میں بھی ویسا ہی امین ہوں جیسا دنیا کے معاملات میں آج تک تم نے مجھے امین پایا ہے۔
