- وَالْقَوَاعِدُاور بیٹھ رہنے والیاں
- مِنَسے
- النِّسَآءِعورتوں میں سے
- الّٰتِیْوہ جو
- لَانہیں
- یَرْجُوْنَامید رکھتیں
- نِكَاحًانکاح کی
- فَلَیْسَتو نہیں ہے
- عَلَیْهِنَّان پر
- جُنَاحٌکوئی گناہ
- اَنْکہ
- یَّضَعْنَوہ رکھ دیں
- ثِیَابَهُنَّاپنے کپڑے
- غَیْرَنہ
- مُتَبَرِّجٰتٍظاہر کرنے والیاں۔ دکھانے والیاں

- وَاَنْاور اگر

- لَّهُنَّ ؕان کے لیے
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- سَمِیْعٌسننے والا ہے

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور (گھروں میں) بیٹھ رہنے والی عورتیں جو اب نکاح کی امیدوار نہ ہوں تو ان پر کوئی حرج نہیں اگر وہ اپنے (اضافی) کپڑے اتار دیا کریں بشرطیکہ زینت کی نمائش کرنے والی نہ ہوں اور اگر وہ اس معاملے میں احتیاط ہی کریں تو یہ ان کے لیے بہتر ہے۔ اور اللہ سب کچھ سننے والا ہرچیز کا جاننے والا ہے

Commentary
آیت 60 وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ الّٰتِیْ لَا یَرْجُوْنَ نِکَاحًا ”جن عورتوں کی نکاح کرنے کی عمر نہ رہی ہو اور وہ معمر ہوچکی ہوں۔فَلَیْسَ عَلَیْہِنَّ جُنَاحٌ اَنْ یَّضَعْنَ ثِیَابَہُنَّ ”یعنی ایسی عورتوں کے لیے ضروری نہیں کہ وہ بڑی چادر ہی اوڑھ کر گھر سے باہر نکلیں۔ اسی طرح گھر کے اندر بیٹھے ہوئے ان پر جوان عورتوں کی طرح ہر وقت دوپٹے اوڑھے رکھنے کی پابندی نہیں ہے۔غَیْرَ مُتَبَرِّجٰتٍم بِزِیْنَۃٍط ”اپنی چادریں اتار کر رکھ دینے سے ان کی نیت دوسروں پر اپنی زینت ظاہر کرنے کی نہ ہو اور نہ وہ بظاہر ایسا کریں۔وَاَنْ یَّسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَیْرٌ لَّہُنَّط وَاللّٰہُ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌ ”ان کے سن رسیدہ ہونے کی وجہ سے انہیں جو رعایت دی جا رہی ہے اگر وہ اس رعایت سے فائدہ نہ اٹھائیں اور اپنے کپڑوں کے بارے میں حتی الوسع احتیاط ہی کریں تو یہ ان کے لیے بہتر ہے ‘ کیونکہ شیطان تو ہر وقت انسان کی تاک میں رہتا ہے۔ کیا خبر کس وقت وہ کوئی فتنہ کھڑا کر دے۔
